【Abstract】Although metrological traceability is defined as an unbroken chain of calibrations to a national or international metrological standard, only the reference standard which is located immediately upstream in the calibration chain is shown on a calibration certificate. The blockchain technology proposed in this paper makes it possible for the owner of the certificate to visualize the chain of calibrations to the primary standard. It also provides the prevention measures of falsification of the certificates, assurance of authenticity and integrity of the certificates, and access control of the certificates.
