【Abstract】We present a prototype for a novel blockchain architecture which incorporates two significant changes from existing models. First, it strongly integrates the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) for data storage. Secondly, it incorporates a multiple block structures which segregate raw block data, validation data and meta data to support a verifiable reputation-based committee selection mechanism. In our experiments, we demonstrate that the duplication of data across multiple nodes for some nodes to prune block or transaction data without impact to the network as long as at least one node maintains a copy of the data, which is enforced through careful block and transaction storage requirements for miners and wallets. We also show that by segregating validation data and raw block data, a verifiable reputation score can be used reducing dishonest member selection over time.
