【Abstract】Future wireless networks ((beyond fifth-generation (B5G) and sixth-generation (6G)) are expected to handle a large number of mobile and Internet of things (IoTs) devices by integrating space-aerial-ground-sea integrated (SAGSI) networks. Efficient resource management schemes in SAGSI networks are critical to tackle the challenges of seamless and high-quality wireless connectivity of heterogeneous devices anytime and anywhere. However, keeping the security and privacy of individual and integrated networks intact while optimizing resources is essential. This paper studies and discusses security issues in SAGSI networks from a resource optimization perspective. We present a survey of recent literature on how resource optimization and security are co-related in different domains of overall networks while considering artificial intelligence, machine learning (AUML), Blockchain, edge computing, secure non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), and software-defined networking (SDN) as potential technologies for secure SAGSI networks. We also provide future research directions and challenges in secure SAGSI networks.
