【Abstract】This paper introduces a data-driven ESG assessment approach using blockchain technology and stochastic multicriteria acceptability analysis (SMAA-2) to address the data opaqueness and assessment subjectivity problems. On the one hand, blockchain provides a transparent and trackable ledger to store and share ESG data among the listed companies, investors, and stakeholders alike. On the other hand, SMAA-2 provides the ad-vantages of robustness and no subjective weight preferences to assess the ESG data. Based on real ESG data, this research quantitatively compares the ESG performances of 71 textiles and apparel listed companies in Hong Kong. Sensitivity analyses are conducted to verify the stability of the proposed approach with scaling weight preferences of environmental criteria (e.g., water consumption, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emission). Results show that the proposed data-driven ESG assessment approach can analyze the companies' sustainability performances and benchmark the sustainability level of the company in the peer industry.

【Abstract】The emergence of blockchain creates a new possibility to solve the fraudulent problem of financial supply chain. We construct a game model to verify the strategic choice of the financial supply chain in an uncertain environment. We derive the equilibrium results and investigate the strategic choice of blockchain service for the financial supply chain. We also study the product price, product quantity, financing interest rate, and supply chain risk transmission, respectively. Specifically, when the blockchain is not considered, the financial model of supply chain led by core enterprises depends on firms' reputation. The retail and wholesale prices increase when fraud occurs or consideration payment increases. Besides, the market stability reduces price performance. In the blockchain environment, the strategic choices are divided into two cases: when choosing the core enterprise model and the third-party service model, the third-party service model is the equilibrium strategy; when choosing the third-party service model and the platform model, the platform model is the equilibrium strategy.

【Abstract】Borrowing from insights produced in urban planning, media and governance studies thereby leveraging the Ostrom-nian ideas of institutions and polycentricity, this paper examines how to govern commons in the smart city. It offers a reflection upon whether Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) could be a key notion for the commons discourse which centers around stakeholders, self-organization, and a rights-based framework. By decentralizing ledgers and enabling the interoperability of the various interfaces, DLTs make records more accessible, exchanges more transparent, and reduce costs while increasing efficiency, and permit automation, therefore commoning interactions both offline and online are facilitated. We argue that the use of DLTs to preserve the spatiotemporal integrity of key urban spaces is a common value question that needs to be elucidated or renegotiated in order to provide any useful guidance to DLTs integrity-preserving potential. In doing so, we draw attention to DLT-based urban commons and urban governance, and point to inherent incompatibilities that may lead to radical and not-so-smooth changes in urban institutions, while providing a way of thinking which can move the smart city closer towards a values-centered process and away from a preoccupation with technology and efficiency.

【Abstract】Background: Social media and digital technologies have played essential roles in disseminating information and promoting vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a need to summarize the applications and analytical techniques of social media and digital technologies in monitoring vaccine attitudes and administering COVID-19 vaccines. Objective: We aimed to synthesize the global evidence on the applications of social media and digital technologies in COVID-19 vaccination and to explore their avenues to promote COVID-19 vaccination. Methods: We searched 6 databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, EBSCO, and IEEE Xplore) for English-language articles from December 2019 to August 2022. The search terms covered keywords relating to social media, digital technology, and COVID-19 vaccines. Articles were included if they provided original descriptions of applications of social media or digital health technologies/solutions in COVID-19 vaccination. Conference abstracts, editorials, letters, commentaries, correspondence articles, study protocols, and reviews were excluded. A modified version of the Appraisal Tool for Cross-Sectional Studies (AXIS tool) was used to evaluate the quality of social media-related studies. The review was undertaken with the guidance of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews. Results: A total of 178 articles were included in our review, including 114 social media articles and 64 digital technology articles. Social media has been applied for sentiment/emotion analysis, topic analysis, behavioral analysis, dissemination and engagement analysis, and information quality analysis around COVID-19 vaccination. Of these, sentiment analysis and topic analysis were the most common, with social media data being primarily analyzed by lexicon-based and machine learning techniques. The accuracy and reliability of information on social media can seriously affect public attitudes toward COVID-19 vaccines, and misinformation often leads to vaccine hesitancy. Digital technologies have been applied to determine the COVID-19 vaccination strategy, predict the vaccination process, optimize vaccine distribution and delivery, provide safe and transparent vaccination certificates, and perform postvaccination surveillance. The applied digital technologies included algorithms, blockchain, mobile health, the Internet of Things, and other technologies, although with some barriers to their popularization. Conclusions: The applications of social media and digital technologies in addressing COVID-19 vaccination-related issues represent an irreversible trend. Attention should be paid to the ethical issues and health inequities arising from the digital divide while applying and promoting these technologies.

【Abstract】With the advantages of decentralization and high reliability, the blockchain is widely used in vehicular networks, which has attracted widespread attention from academia and industries. However, when combining blockchain into vehicular networks, there exist three challenges: 1) how to access pre-deployed blockchain when vehicles are disconnected from network infrastructures, 2) how to reduce the communication overhead caused by an increasing network scale while maintaining decentralization of blockchains, 3) how to balance limited vehicle's resources and high throughput of blockchain. To address these challenges, we propose an efficient Device-to-Device (D2D) Network-empowered blockchain framework to receive and process transactions from D2D vehicles. We then propose a grouped and leaderless consensus mechanism to reduce communication overhead as the network scale increases. We also propose an elastic resource allocation scheme using the Lyapunov optimization theory to achieve high throughput given limited resources. Finally, numerical results show that the proposed mechanisms achieve D2D interaction under different network conditions and better performance than existing approaches.

【Abstract】Using microgrids to charge Electric Vehicles (EVs) is a significant step toward achieving Electric mobility. The microgrids generate electricity for self-use and sell surplus energy locally in Peer-to-Peer (P2P) manner, where seller and buyer meet to trade electricity directly on agreed terms without any intermediary. The energy trading decision for the microgrid is a challenging issue due to uncertainty of renewable energy yield, the electric demands of EVs and without knowing the offers of other competitive microgrids together makes it hard to decide the selling price of energy per unit. Further, there is a need to audit and verify the energy trading and store energy transactions securely in distributed manner to avoid collapse of the system in case of single point of failure. In this context, this paper presents a Blockchain and Quantum Reinforcement Learning based optimized Energy Trading (BQL-ET) model for E-mobility. Firstly, a double-auction mechanism is proposed to set optimal market-trading price by observing the selling price of each microgrid and the demand of EV's. Secondly, using smart contracts, consortium blockchain is deployed for the evaluation of overall utility, which includes energy supply, demand, and cost for both microgrids and EVs. Finally, Utility maximization problem is transformed into a Markov Decision Process (MDP), and in order to develop the learning policy and maximize overall utility, a QRL optimization for solving the MDP problem is proposed. Convergence analysis and performance results attest that BQL-ET convergences faster, maximizes the utility of both microgrids an EVs with lower transaction confirmation time and setting of the optimal market-trading price compared to state-of-the art models.

【Abstract】Blockchain has been widely used in the Internet of Things (IoT) to address security problems such as DDoS and Sybil. However, how to design a lightweight Proof-of-Work (PoW) for the IoT without compromising security is still a problem. To solve this problem, we propose a lightweight PoW for blockchain in IoT. Firstly, we present Heterogeneity Considered Trust Mechanism (HCTM) for IoT nodes, which evaluates the trust value according to capacity and quality, and makes the trust evaluation more reasonable. Then, we present Trust based Time -Constrained PoW (TBTC-PoW). We allocate reasonable time windows to the consensus nodes according to the computing resources, trust values and mining difficulty, which reduces the energy consumption and improves the security of PoW. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that our method has a lower energy con-sumption and higher security.

【Abstract】Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is the new paradigm to perform different healthcare applications with different services in daily life. Healthcare applications based on IIoT paradigm are widely used to track patients health status using remote healthcare technologies. Complex biomedical sensors exploit wireless technologies, and remote services in terms of industrial workflow applications to perform different healthcare tasks, such as like heartbeat, blood pressure and others. However, existing industrial healthcare technoloiges still has to deal with many problems, such as security, task scheduling, and the cost of processing tasks in IIoT based healthcare paradigms. This paper proposes a new solution to the above-mentioned issues and presents the deep reinforcement learning-aware blockchain-based task scheduling (DRLBTS) algorithm framework with different goals. DRLBTS provides security and makespan efficient scheduling for the healthcare applications. Then, it shares secure and valid data between connected network nodes after the initial assignment and data validation. Statistical results show that DRLBTS is adaptive and meets the security, privacy, and makespan requirements of healthcare applications in the distributed network.

【Abstract】Circulation is the characteristic feature of successful currency systems, from community currencies to cryptocurrencies to national currencies. In this paper, we propose a network analysis approach especially suited for studying circulation given a system's digital transaction records. Sarafu is a digital community currency that was active in Kenya over a period that saw considerable economic disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We represent its circulation as a network of monetary flow among the 40,000 Sarafu users. Network flow analysis reveals that circulation was highly modular, geographically localized, and occurring among users with diverse livelihoods. Across localized sub-populations, network cycle analysis supports the intuitive notion that circulation requires cycles. Moreover, the sub-networks underlying circulation are consistently degree disassortative and we find evidence of preferential attachment. Community-based institutions often take on the role of local hubs, and network centrality measures confirm the importance of early adopters and of women's participation. This work demonstrates that networks of monetary flow enable the study of circulation within currency systems at a striking level of detail, and our findings can be used to inform the development of community currencies in marginalized areas.

【Abstract】Emerging technologies such as blockchain have accelerated the digitization of a variety of industries, improved the operational efficiency of enterprises, and promoted in-depth integration of digital technology with the real economy. Blockchain has characteristics that include distributed storage, peer-to-peer transmission, strong confidentiality, and easy traceability. This article introduces blockchain into an enterprise's information management system with the aim of breaking the enterprise's digital barriers by using technologies such as distributed ledgers, smart contracts, and asymmetric encryption, thus improving the security and applicability of the enterprise data assets. This article explores the characteristics and security of three types of blockchain in depth, designs the model framework of the blockchain digital system (BDS) based on industry needs, and analyzes the functions and the operating mechanisms of each level of the system in detail. Finally, based on the characteristics of public blockchain, consortium blockchain, and private blockchain, three typical application scenarios in which the BDS can be used are selected, and the article discusses how E-retail supply chains, virtual power plants, and carbon trading platforms can realize digital management using the BDS, thus providing a practical basis for construction and application of the BDS.

【Abstract】Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a key technology for building intelligent manufacturing, optimizing industrial device management, and improving productivity. Currently, an increasing number of cross-domain interaction scenarios exist in which different industries cooperate in production. The communication of industrial devices across various domains poses additional security and privacy issues. However, most current cross-domain authentication schemes require a trusted third-party centralized authentication, which reduces system flexibility and becomes the system bottleneck in multi-domain production environments with a large number of devices. In this paper, we propose a distributed cross-domain message authentication scheme with conditional privacy-preserving for the cross-domain communication scenario in IIoT, where multiple manufacturers jointly deploy devices for collaborative production. The private key generator in each domain is only responsible for offline registration and traceability, and a set of edge gateways realize distributed authentication and token distribution to devices through secret sharing technology. In addition, we use batch authentication technology to reduce authentication latency. Security analysis indicates that the scheme satisfies the security and privacy requirements of cross-domain authentication in IIoT. Experimental analysis shows that our scheme is more computationally efficient and has lower communication costs than related schemes.

【Abstract】The classification of remote sensing images can give valuable data for various practical applications for smart cities, including urban planning, construction, and water resource management. The federated learning (FL) solution is often adopted to resolve the problems of limited resources and the confidentiality of data in remote sensing image classification. Privacy-preserving federated learning (PPFL) is a state-of-art FL scheme tailored for the privacy-constrained situation. It is required to address safeguarding data privacy and optimizing model accuracy effectively. However, existing PPFL methods usually suffer from model poisoning attacks, especially in the case of dishonest-majority scenarios. To address this challenge, in this work, we propose a blockchain-empowered PPFL for remote sensing image classification framework with the poisonous dishonest majority, which is able to defend against encrypted model poisoning attacks without compromising users' privacy. Specifically, we first propose the method of proof of accuracy (PoA) aiming to evaluate the encrypted models in an authentic way. Then, we design the secure aggregation framework using PoA, which can achieve robustness in a majority proportion of adversary settings. The experimental results show that our scheme can reach 92.5%, 90.61%, 87.48%, and 81.84% accuracy when the attacker accounts for 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80%, respectively. This is consistent with the FedAvg accuracy when only benign clients own the corresponding proportion of data. The experiment results demonstrate the proposed scheme's superiority in defending against model poisoning attacks.

【Abstract】Blockchain sharding splits a blockchain into several shards where consensus is reached at the shard level rather than over the entire blockchain. It improves transaction throughput and reduces the computational resources required of individual nodes. But a derivation of trustworthy consensus within a shard becomes an issue as the longest chain based mechanisms used in conventional blockchains can no longer be used. Instead, a vote-based consensus mechanism must be employed. However, existing vote-based Byzantine fault tolerance consensus protocols do not offer sufficient security guarantees for sharded blockchains. First, when used to support consensus where only one block is allowed at a time (binary consensus), these protocols are susceptible to progress-hindering attacks (i.e., unable to reach a consensus). Second, when used to support a stronger type of consensus where multiple concurrent blocks are allowed (strong consensus), their tolerance of adversary nodes is low. This article proposes a new consensus protocol to address all these issues. We call the new protocol MWPoW+, as its basic framework is based on the existing Multiple Winners Proof of Work (MWPoW) protocol but includes new mechanisms to address the issues mentioned previously. MWPoW+ is a vote-based protocol for strong consensus, asynchronous in consensus derivation but synchronous in communication. We prove that it can tolerate up to f < n/2 adversary nodes in a n-node system as if using a binary consensus protocol and does not suffer from progress-hindering attacks.

【Abstract】With the advent of Industry 4.0, the demand of high computing power for tasks such as data mining, 3D rendering, file conversion and cryptography is continuously growing. To this extent, distributed and decentralized environments play a fundamental role by dramatically increasing the amount of available resources. However, there are still several issues in the existing resource sharing solutions, such as the uncertainty of task running time, the renting price and the security of transactions. In this work, we present a blockchain-enabled task assignment platform by performance prediction based on Hyperledger Fabric, an open-source solution for private and permissioned blockchains in enterprise contexts that outperforms other technologies in terms of modularity, security and performance. We propose a model-free deep reinforcement learning framework to predict task runtime in agents current load state while the agent is engaged in multiple concurrent tasks. In addition, we let clients choose between prediction accuracy and price saving on each request. This way, we implicitly give inaccurate agents a chance to get assignments by competing in price rather than in time, allowing them to collect new experiences and improve future predictions. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme.

【Abstract】Data security and integrity are becoming increasingly important as the volume of data being created and stored grows. A controlled third party that provides most of the existing big data security systems makes them susceptible to several security risks. By resolving current technology challenges, including scalability, non-tampering, trustworthiness, data governance, and transparency, blockchain technology plays a vital role and has a significant potential to safeguard personal information. Therefore, this work focuses on addressing real-time big data storage issues based on a transdisciplinary research approach. This study introduces a brand-new approach to big data storage security that leverages blockchain technology and applies highway protocol to generate new blocks. The proposed highway protocol works based on the flexible finality condition to overcome issues of baseline models. The highway allows blocks to run the consensus mechanism to configure security thresholds more freely. The proposed protocol also allows blocks with lower thresholds to reach finality more quickly than blocks requiring greater degrees of confidence. Therefore, the proposed big data framework can dynamically control data manipulation and continuously support individuals to participate in the data-sharing process. A comparison was performed with the number of data requests in terms of hit ratio, and a highway protocol provides better results than baseline models. The proposed model provides a data processing period of 13 to 30 ms and an energy consumption of 32 to 41 mJ.

【Abstract】In V2X (vehicle-to-everything) communication, there is a two-way communication among the vehicle(s) and other Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled smart devices around it that may change how we need to drive. Due to the advancement of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and the rapid development of IoT in transportation, traditional applications are converted to intelligent applications. In V2X communications, the collected information from the IoT smart devices and other sources passes through low-latency, high-bandwidth, high-reliability links. With the future adoption of the 5th generation mobile network (5G) and beyond networks, V2X continues to produce a huge volume of data. However, collecting and storing data securely in blockchain-based storage are extremely needed for immutability and transparency. In this survey article, the convergence of IoT, V2X and blockchain technologies, and various security challenges and their countermeasures are discussed. Next, we discuss various V2X applications and their respective services. Moreover, IoT-V2X architecture and its enabling technologies are discussed in this article. In addition, we also provide a comprehensive analysis of various security mechanisms. Finally, we provide some important challenges and issues of Blockchain for Intelligent Transportation System (BITS).

【Abstract】In this era of cutting-edge research and digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly penetrated all subspecialties, including ophthalmology. Managing AI data and analytics is cumbersome, and implementing blockchain technology has made this task less challenging. Blockchain technology is an advanced mechanism with a robust database that allows the unambiguous sharing of widespread information within a business model or network. The data is stored in blocks that are linked together in chains. Since its inception in 2008, blockchain technology has grown over the years, and its novel use in ophthalmology has been less well documented. This section on current ophthalmology discusses the novel use and future of blockchain technology for intraocular lens power calculation and refractive surgery workup, ophthalmic genetics, payment methods, international data documentation, retinal images, global myopia pandemic, virtual pharmacy, and drug compliance and treatment. The authors have also provided valuable insights into various terminologies and definitions used in blockchain technology.

【Abstract】The financial inclusion of poor populations and/or refugees can be hindered by difficulties in proving or reluctance to disclose their identity. Bank accounts and mobile money services require that identities be provided. Financial digital services based on blockchain technology can provide anonymous authentication to poor/refugee populations and be a first step towards financial inclusion. We scrutinize several examples of such projects by comparing them with blockchain-based digital identity or financial inclusion programs that are not necessarily restricted to poor/migrant populations. We use social network activity as a proxy for the failure or success of such projects. We find that blockchain projects targeted to migrants and poor individuals are more likely to fail than are those targeted to all. We more closely examine one particular case to check the consistency of our proxy. We present plausible explanations for our result: the discrepancy between the needs of populations of low socioeconomic status and the proposed blockchain-backed financial services and the fact that maintaining such services is energy intensive.

【Abstract】Traceability systems are important for solving problems due to the increasing scale of the global supply chain, such as food safety crises and market disorder. Blockchain, as an immutable and decentralized ledger, is able to optimize the traditional traceability system by ensuring the transparency and reliability of the system data. However, the use of blockchain technology may lead to a rapid increase in the complexity of system design and development. It is challenging to address widespread and complicated business, changeable processes, and massive data in practice, which are the main factors restricting the wide application of a blockchain-based traceability system (BTS). Therefore, in this paper, we reviewed relevant studies and proposed a reference architecture for BTSs. The proposed reference architecture can improve the cohesiveness, maintainability, and extensibility of BTSs through domain-driven design (DDD) and microservices. Considering the efficiency reduction caused by massive data and complicated data structure, we further changed the traditional single blockchain framework into multiple sub-chain networks, which could improve development efficiency and system performance. With the guidance of the architecture trade-off analysis method (ATAM), we evaluated our reference architecture and implemented a prototype in the salmon supply chain scenario. The results show that our solution is effective and adaptable to meet the requirements of BTSs.

【Abstract】Contact tracing is the approach to identifying physical contact between human beings using a variety of data such as personal details and locations to discover the potential infection of diseases. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, contact tracing has been used extensively to quarantine the people at risk to stop the spread. Moreover, the data collected during contact tracing are typical spatiotemporal data, which can be used to study the disease and discover the spread pattern. However, both traditional labor-intensive and modern digital-based approaches have limitations in terms of cost and privacy concerns. In this paper, we proposed GeauxTrace, a Blockchain-based privacy-protecting contact tracing platform, which separates private data from proof of contact. Sensitive data collected by the front-end app via Bluetooth-based methods are stored locally, and only the proofs of contacts are uploaded onto the immutable private blockchain, which forms a global contact graph at the backend. Our approach not only enables multi-hop risky users to be notified but also reveals the infection patterns via the global graph, which could help study diseases and assist the policymaker. Our implementation shows the feasibility of the proposed platform in real-world scenarios and achieves the performance of 20-30 user requests per second.

【Abstract】With increasing complexity of global construction supply chains and the substantial contribution such supply chains make to the environment, there is a need to understand how components of these supply chains can be reused and repurposed. Blockchains provide an important basis for recording transactions carried out in supply chains to aid potential reusability. A recent example of circularity in the built environment includes the tracking of material reuse across the building lifecycle (from construction to demolition and then reuse). The use of decentralisation and immutability in Blockchains is used to demonstrate how material passports may be supported and used as a basis to create a circular economy in construction.

【Abstract】Blockchain has attracted considerable attention as a solution to the challenges of privacy, security and decentralisation for many applications. However, these characteristics of the blockchain result in ever growing ledger size, which is one of the major barriers to blockchain adoption in large-scale networks such as the Internet of Things (IoT). In this paper, we propose Multi-Level Distributed Caching (MLDC) for blockchain storage optimisation which reduces data replication based on data access pattern. MLDC divides nodes into storage classes (SCs) by their node availability, and assigns each SC a different Access Frequency (AF) to remove data from the local storage. Over time, each node only stores frequently accessed data, so MLDC can reduce the total storage cost by 83% compared to conventional blockchain systems, while maintaining blockchain consistency and data availability with a slight increase in network overhead and data query delay.

【Abstract】Crowdfunding is starting to compete with the traditional mode of funding and has allowed startups to raise funds without too much red tape and bureaucracy. In this work, we propose a participatory platform for the social and solidarity economy, based on blockchain technology, smart contracts and a mode of financing inspired by Islamic financing. This mode of financing is based on the prohibition of interest, uncertainty and speculation and is based mainly on the principle of active partnership: "Musharaka". Donations are also considered and managed as financial assets. It is based on the direct ownership of tangible assets and investment operations through the principle of sharing profits or losses which promotes partnership and a more equitable sharing. The introduction of blockchain in crowdfunding makes this type of funding more reliable, transparent, decentralized, profitable and convenient. The crowdfunding platform is proposed for a project that consists of equitable water distribution and irrigation compatible with ecosystems in the Haouz region of Morocco.

【Abstract】The PININ project (PIemuNt ch`eINa) aims to increase the quality and perception of high-quality agri-food products through the use of innovative technologies that allow to optimize and reduce the quality certification and traceability costs, as well as improve the access to traceability information by the final user. It also allows to facilitate the controls in the food chain to certify sustainability starting from cattle breeding in alpine past. The PININ project focuses its effort in the definition and implementation of a comprehensive agri-food traceability system specifically designed for high-quality food products involving all different phases, up to the distribution and consumption. To reach these goals, the project develops a complex platform mixing blockchain and internet of things, augmented reality and interactive maps. They allow the creation of an innovative food product tracking system along the entire supply chain, from raw materials to consumer, and to introduce innovative services for the consumer and the stakeholder. Within the PININ platform, one of the most important tool is represented by a mobile app for customers providing information regarding the whole products production chain, as well as places of sales and consumption like restaurants. In this paper, we present the results on evaluation of the app with final users, in order to test the usability and usefulness of the solution.

【Abstract】Blockchain is being used in the supply chain from a local to a global scale with its ever-increasing maturity and ubiquity. However, in the presence of information flow from a subjective source with no digital footprint, such as a claim, or a promise, there is a gap in the application of the Blockchain framework in supply chain risk management perspective. The existing mechanisms such as Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Authority (PoA) or Proof of Stake (PoS) do not verify and validate subjective information presented in Service level agreement (SLA). We address this open issue in this paper by proposing the Proof by Earnestness (PoE) consensus mechanism that aims to validate the authenticity and legitimacy of such information. Subjective Information Authenticity Earnestness Framework (SIAEF) seeks to be a decentralised application to enable the trustworthiness of subjective information to become accountable.

【Abstract】Healthcare data security is a much-discussed topic nowadays. Medical data storage and sharing require security, privacy, and trust between organizations. Different research organizations, medical institutes, or individual researchers publish their research results but sometimes they need to share the data as well. In this scenario, a secure and transparent medical data-sharing system is much needed. In this work, we are proposing a blockchain-based system for medical data sharing between organizations. The system ensures security, privacy, transparency, and trust, hence trust between the organizations is not necessary. Since the system requirement is permissioned, a private or permissioned blockchain is used. We have set up the blockchain infrastructure using hyperledger fabric, known for its flexibility and modular architecture.

【Abstract】Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools collect log data which helps organizations to plan appropriate security assessment and reconciliation strategies. The majority of the SIEM tools generate reports instantaneously. Root cause analysis of security risks needs data provenance capabilities. Blockchain Technology augments SIEM tools with data provenance capability so that an effective security framework can be built for organizations. In this paper, we describe a unified and comprehensive security assurance framework which supports a tamper-proof, time-stamped and distributed storage repository to ensure data provenance and is useful in security assessment in compliance to cloud control matrix of CSA. This framework can be used in a Cloud environment also by adding additional security log data collection points.

【Abstract】Nowadays, the consumption of media content has been growing rapidly and consistently, driven by an easy access to Video on Demand platforms. In this context, licensing is needed to ensure that filmmakers receive rightful payment for their content and ensure that their rights as content owners are respected. The traditional licensing process, which is heavily dependent on third parties (legal entities) to mediate the transaction, is very long, costly, and complex, which is a barrier to smaller independent filmmakers. The solution proposed in this work, to address this problem, is to create a business-to-business marketplace platform supported by a Blockchain licensing module. This module takes advantage of Blockchain technology to ensure the licensing requirements and to provide a secure, practical and straightforward way to license media in a decentralised paradigm. The result of this work was validated though a prototype, and a global assessment of the system's usability was performed using the System Usability Scale, where it got the best possible grade.

【Abstract】Multiple opportunities lie at the intersection of multi-robot systems and distributed ledger technologies (DLTs). In this work, we investigate the potential of new DLT solutions such as IOTA, for detecting anomalies and byzantine agents in multi-robot systems in a decentralized manner. Traditional blockchain approaches are not applicable to real-world networked and decentralized robotic systems where connectivity conditions are not ideal. To address this, we leverage recent advances in partition-tolerant and byzantine-tolerant collaborative decision-making processes with IOTA smart contracts. We show how our work in vision-based anomaly and change detection can be applied to detecting byzantine agents within multiple robots operating in the same environment. We show that IOTA smart contracts add a low computational overhead while allowing to build trust within the multi-robot system. The proposed approach effectively enables byzantine robot detection based on the comparison of images submitted by the different robots and detection of anomalies and changes between them.

【Abstract】Multi-access edge computing (MEC) extends cloud computing capabilities to the edge of the network which enables real-time and low-latency services for mobile users. To ensure that the delay requirement of the services is met even in the event of user mobility, service migration across different edge clusters is needed. Trusted migration and proper destination node selection across domains are two key ingredients for cross-edge migration. To this end, we propose a blockchain-based service migration framework to establish trust among different edge clusters. We use Kubernetes as our cluster orchestrator platform for containerized services. In addition, we model the problem as a Markov Decision Process (MDP) and employ the asynchronous advantage actor-critic (A3C) algorithm to select suitable destinations. The proposed approach is corroborated by a simulation study.

【Abstract】Discovering and understanding the marketing side of fintech is becoming a necessity, as it is the future of the world's finance. In the context of analyzing and understanding Mikadof's costumers (fintech start-up that offers services to facilitate decision-making in the stock and cryptocurrency markets), a systematic literature review was conducted to get a clearer picture of existing research that has been around the segmentation of fintech customers. The results showed a gap in the research that deals with the segmentation of these types of consumers. Nevertheless, several researches were about the stimuli that drive consumers to adopt a fintech solution. Understanding and analyzing these stimuli is an important step in segmenting these fintech consumers. According to the review, the Technology Adoption Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) were among the most mentioned theories explaining the reasons for adopting new technologies. Security, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness were among the variables most used by the authors to explain the intention to use new technologies.

【Abstract】In this paper, we propose DID/VC-based V2X Access Authorization Mechanism that improves the CA-centered structure problem of the V2X security authentication system developed to ensure the anonymity of V2X users and create a safe operating basis for ITS. The CA-centered PKI structure represents a structure in which there is a CA that can lead or control the identity of the identity subject. In this structure, the identity subject's personal information and certificate can be stolen by a Misbehavior CA, and there is a risk of external attack such as MITM attack. Building trust in V2X networks is a major problem because it is difficult to evaluate reliability between vehicles and infrastructure in an untrustworthy environment. In this paper, we propose a DID/VC-based V2X Access Authorization Mechanism that selects a trusted authority to improve reliability, guarantees data sovereignty and privacy protection of identity subjects, and generates safe digital credentials.
