A value-based approach to the adoption of cryptocurrencies

【Abstract】The use of cryptocurrencies offers attractive business opportunities, in the context of financial services, smart contracts and token-based business models. The objective of this study is to provide a value-based understanding of what drives people to use cryptocurrencies for value exchange. Based on the users' perceived value of the technology, as logic of decision making, we explore the role of perceived financial value and the perceived emotional value in the intention to use the technology. The unified technology adoption theory provides the potential drivers of these value concepts, which are extended accounting for sustainability. Furthermore, to capture users' evolving experience with blockchain technologies, we propose the concept of the cryptocurrency knowledge path, capturing the scope and depth of users' knowledge on the applicability of cryptocurrencies, as potential influence on the value concepts in the decision to actively use cryptocurrencies. For the analysis, a structural model is set up and estimated using partial least square analysis (PLS-SEM). We identify a positive effect of both value concepts, financial and emotional value, on the intention to use cryptocurrencies. However, interestingly, we find that the emotional value assessment is fully mediated through the knowledge path. Furthermore, we find that environmental sustainability considerations are fully mediated through either of the two value concepts. 【Abstract】Despite the benefits resulting from the use of Industry 4.0 technologies in the agri-food sector, the adoption of digital technologies for preventing and/or reducing food loss and waste (FLW) across the agri-food supply chain is still under investigation. In fact, enhancing and optimizing agri-food supply chain operations through digital technologies would just represent a partial effort if FLW prevention and reduction are not effectively addressed. Although companies are starting to adopt digital technologies for eliminating FLW from their operations, the implementation process and the achieved results are generally presented at a superficial level and practical guidance is still missing. This systematic literature review contributes to theory by developing a framework analyzing the state-of-the-art of adoption of each Industry 4.0 technology across the agri-food supply chain, and providing a research agenda structured around the main themes of research design, digital technologies, contextual differences, governance, and sustainability. Eventually, the study also informs managers in the agri-food industry about the potential implementation of digital technologies for preventing and reducing FLW in across the agri-food supply chain.

Securing trustworthy evidence for robust forensic cloud-blockchain environment for immigration management with improved ECC encryption

【Abstract】At present in this digitalized era, the passport is still a substantial thing. It is taken at every place together with other journey-related ID like Immigration stamps and VISA, which are also an element of a passport. In this research, a novel forensic method is developed for privacy-preserved management of migration in cloud-assisted blockchain networks. The decentralized model of blockchain made public ledger tampering a chief problem. The conservation of confidentiality is the main demand in legal forensics. The developed approach adapts appropriate techniques for conserving anonymity and confidentiality, which assured that no private data, is disclosed throughout the blockchain-based procedure derivation function. The technique integrated six stages, like"Initialization phase, Log File collection phase, Key generation and management, partial proof generation, certificate and file encryption, adding encryption proofs on public key infrastructure, proof verification by cloud forensic investigator". As a new thing, we choose the public keys optimally via Combined Archimedes and Hunger Games Search Algorithm with Cauchy's Mutation (CAHSACM). In addition, "improved Elliptical curve cryptography (IECC) based encryption" is done to authenticate the data. At last, the improvements of CAHSACM are proven using varied analyses.

R-PBFT: A secure and intelligent consensus algorithm for Internet of vehicles

【Abstract】Blockchain applications in the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) employ a secure and distributed consensus method, such as Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) and Proof-of-Work (PoW), to reduce the load on the central server of IoV and the likelihood of single-node attacks. While traditional consensus algorithms based IoV improves consistency, efficiency, and eliminates single-node attacks, it has some limitations, including a delayed consensus process, restricted transaction frequency, and substantial block congestion. To address these limitations, we propose a fast and intelligent consensus mechanism called R-PBFT (Reputed PBFT). The R-PBFT improves the PBFT consensus process through the use of a reputation mechanism computed by logistic regression. We have built a testbed using the Raspberry Pi 4 and NVIDIA Jetson Nano platforms and experimented with the proposed scheme. The experiment result shows that the proposed R-PBFT outperforms state-of-the-art approaches by minimizing consensus delay by 50%, improving transaction frequency by 24% and throughput by 50%, reducing block congestion by 57%, and improves fairness by 15%. According to security analysis, R-PBFT is secure against Finney, Sybil, eclipse, routing, and impersonation attacks.(c) 2023 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

Blockchain Assisted Federated Learning Over Wireless Channels: Dynamic Resource Allocation and Client Scheduling

【Abstract】Blockchain technology has been extensively studied to enable distributed and tamper-proof data processing in federated learning (FL). Most existing blockchain assisted FL (BFL) frameworks have employed a third-party blockchain network to decentralize the model aggregation process. However, decentralized model aggregation is vulnerable to pooling and collusion attacks from the third-party blockchain network. Driven by this issue, we propose a novel BFL framework that features the integration of training and mining at the client side. To optimize the learning performance of FL, we propose to maximize the long-term time average (LTA) training data size under a constraint of LTA energy consumption. To this end, we formulate a joint optimization problem of training client selection and resource allocation (i.e., the transmit power and computation frequency at the client side), and solve the long-term mixed integer non-linear program based on a Lyapunov technique. In particular, the proposed dynamic resource allocation and client scheduling (DRACS) algorithm can achieve a trade-off of [ $\mathcal {O}(1/V)$ , $\mathcal {O}(\sqrt {V})$ ] to balance the maximization of the LTA training data size and the minimization of the LTA energy consumption with a control parameter $V$ . Our experimental results show that the proposed DRACS algorithm achieves better learning accuracy than benchmark client scheduling strategies with limited time or energy consumption.

Multiplicative consistency analysis of interval-valued fuzzy preference relations

【Abstract】Interval-valued fuzzy preference relations (IVFPRs) have been applied to many real-life decision -making problems. However, most definitions of consistency of IVFPRs do not satisfy invariability to compared objects' labels. To overcome this drawback, this paper mainly focuses on the mul-tiplicative consistency analysis of interval-valued fuzzy preference relations (IVFPRs). Firstly, this paper proposes a new multiplicative consistency of complete IVFPRs. It is proved that this new multiplicative consistency is robust and invariable to compared objects' labels. Then, the defi-nition of acceptable incomplete IVFPRs (In-IVFPRs) is presented. To make full use of all direct and indirect evaluations of decision-makers, an algorithm is devised to evaluate the missing elements of an acceptable incomplete In-IVFPR. To comprehensively describe the closeness between any two complete IVFPRs, the total deviation of two complete IVFPRs is defined based on the p-norm of a vector. By minimizing the total deviation of two complete IVFPRs, a programming model is built to determine an interval weight vector from a complete IVFPR. Subsequently, a novel decision-making method with an In-IVFPR is proposed. Lastly, three practical and numerical examples and simulation-based comparative analyses are provided to further validate the prac-ticability and advantages of the proposed method.

BSEIFFS: Blockchain-secured edge-intelligent forest fire surveillance

【Abstract】This work aims to address two major issues in forest fire management: accurate real-time forecast and end-to-end secured data delivery between validated entities. To do so, we introduce BSEIFFS, a secured and intelligent forest fire prediction architecture realized through the convergence of Blockchain technology, mist computing, edge computing and machine learning paradigms. The pro-posed architecture renders Blockchain-backed security and Support Vector Regression based wildfire prediction at the edge by offloading the execution overheads to containerized cloud applications. Two algorithms namely Uncorrelated Data Transmission (UDT) algorithm and Blockchain based Audit Trail validation (BAT) algorithm are proposed to reduce number of repetitive packet transmissions and rendering a lightweight Blockchain based identity validation scheme at the edge respectively. The prediction model is trained using real-world meteorological data and tested on a steel manufacturing facility where controlled combustion and quenching processes closely resemble fire and rain scenarios. Apart from the Google Cloud Platform, tools such as IBM NodeRed, Siemens IBA PDA softwares are used to implement the BSEIFFS architecture. Extensive experimentation and comparative evaluation are performed with relevant baseline approaches. BSEIFFS achieves a prediction accuracy of 98.61%, ROC AUC score of 0.9668 with 0.1127 as false positive rate. The BSEIFFS SVR predictor with rbf kernel (MAE = 1.840, RMSE = 5.728) performs better than similar baseline approaches. The proposed UDT algorithm causes 82.02% reduction in packet transmissions through the network. BSEIFFS also achieves atleast 44.84% lesser energy consumption, 11.91% higher throughput and 71.91% lesser roundtrip time in comparison with baseline approaches. BSEIFFS can massively extend the benefits of the imminent B5G/6G technologies to perform fine-grained and faster computations. (c) 2023 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

On the development of a smart architecture for a sustainable manufacturing-remanufacturing system: A literature review approach

【Abstract】Remanufacturing is a circular manufacturing (CM) strategy that emerges as a sustainable manufacturing approach to recover the value of end-of-life products. It is a challenging process that requires to overcome intrinsic remanufacturing barriers or challenges, while addressing sustainability concerns, and achieving busi-ness model (BM) objectives. The lack of product life cycle information (PLCI) is the main source of these issues, generating significant inefficiencies and negative impacts in CM operations. Smart and industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies have the ability to recover, process, and analyze PLCI. In fact, research is ongoing and suggested approaches are focused on implementing CM strategies using I4.0 to address reverse logistic issues, and to develop new BMs for CM. However, questions remain about on how to structure and configure these technologies as a smart architecture (SA) that simultaneously addresses: 1) remanufacturing barriers and challenges; 2) sustainability; and 3) BMs in the context of CM. The present study addresses this question by conducting a systematic literature review (SLR) to discuss current approaches, identify challenges and opportunities, and to improve understanding of SAs for CM strategies. Based on these SLR findings, this study proposes a novel conceptual design of a SA for a sustainable manufacturing-remanufacturing system towards Industry 5.0. As well, the proposed SA covers novel elements, such as a sustainable stakeholders focus, a modular customizable structure integrated in BM, and a blockchain quality and remanufacturability certificate, that are typically omitted or only partially considered by other studies. Finally, a case study based on an electric motor is used to illustrate the relevance, capabilities, and utilization of the proposed architecture.

A Source Authentication Scheme for Road Condition Monitoring Using Consortium Blockchain

【Abstract】Road condition monitoring supports vehicles in acquiring real-time traffic information in vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs). However, malicious attackers may impersonate other vehicles to propagate forged traffic/road information. Therefore, authentication schemes based on the blockchain were proposed to check the legitimacy of vehicles. At first glance, these proposals can effectively accomplish the authentication process using smart contracts. However, these schemes have poor scalability. Specifically, with the certificate update and the number of revoked certificates growing, the blockchain state database storage continues to increase, which consumes additional computation and storage resources and affects the execution efficiency of smart contracts. In this paper, we address the aforementioned issues by proposing a consortium blockchain-based source authentication scheme for road condition monitoring (ACRoM). In ACRoM, the traffic report is uploaded to the regional trusted authority (RTA) together with one transaction constructed based on the unspent transaction output (UTXO) model. The transaction is utilized to accomplish the source authentication process, which is achieved by verifying the legality of each input contained in the transaction. Moreover, based on the UTXO model, we propose a transaction update mechanism to keep the database storage curve at dynamic stability rather than unlimited growth, which guarantees the scalability of ACRoM. The simulations show that the retrieval time remains at about 0.28 ms while the storage cost is stable at about 29.46 M for the blockchain state database. Besides, benefiting from the efficient batch-verification mechanism, the computation cost of source authentication is about 0.362 ms on average, which outperforms the existing state-of-art schemes.

Deception attacks on event-triggered distributed consensus estimation for nonlinear systems

【Abstract】This paper considers the security problem of distributed consensus estimation for nonlinear systems subject to deception attacks with enough/limited energy. Depending on whether the communication resources of the attacker are limited, two different attack strategies are introduced under the distributed consensus estimation framework. Then an event-triggered distributed consensus extended Kalman filter is devised for nonlinear systems, where the upper bound for the estimation error covariance matrix is derived in terms of the variance-constrained method. The stability analysis is executed to establish sufficient conditions that guarantee the boundedness of the estimation error. Peer-to-peer electricity trading considering voltage-constrained adjustment and loss allocation in blockchain-enabled distribution network

【Abstract】Interest in peer-to-peer (P2P) electricity trading has been growing, especially with respect to distributed energy resources (DERs) accommodation in distribution networks, which utilizes P2P trading mechanism to realize the decentralized operation of DERs. A key technology underpinning P2P electricity trading is the blockchain, which ensures that P2P trading is efficient and transparent. However, due to the limited calculation performance of blockchain, the blockchain-based P2P trading process has to be simplified, which makes on-chain grid securityconstrained trading adjustment and on-chain power loss allocation become difficult to be solved. To address this challenge, a new on-chain P2P electricity trading framework with easy implementation is proposed. First, an onchain linear power flow (OC-LPF) model is developed to reduce the difficulty of on-chain power flow calculation. Second, a novel self-adjustment loss allocation model with low complexity is proposed, which integrates the power loss into OC-LPF-based virtual power variable, and enables power flow calculation and power loss allocation to be performed synchronously. Third, a distributed market clearing algorithm with accelerated convergence based on the OC-LPF model is designed to improve the efficiency of on-chain convergence while protecting the privacy of participants. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed mechanism has been verified with simulation studies on Ethereum.

【Abstract】In recent years, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been a severe issue the world faces. Emergency rescue networks concerning the distribution of relief materials have gained extensive attention to tackle COVID-19 and related emergency issues. However, it is challenging to establish reliable and efficient emergency rescue networks due to information asymmetry and lack of trust among different rescue stations. In this work, we propose blockchain-based emergency rescue networks to track every transaction of the relief materials reliably and make decisions to deliver relief materials efficiently. More specifically, we propose a hybrid blockchain architecture that employs on-chain data verification to authenticate data records and off-chain data storage to reduce storage overhead. Furthermore, we propose a fireworks algorithm to efficiently calculate the optimal allocation strategies for relief materials. The algorithm provides chaotic random screening and node request guarantee techniques with good convergence. The simulation results show that integrating blockchain technology and the fireworks algorithm can significantly improve relief materials' operation efficiency and distribution quality.

The influence of non-physicality of goods on disparities in seller-buyer valuations: A meta-analysis

【Abstract】Technological innovation is shaping products and markets to appeal to consumer enduring needs. Given the rise in non-physicality of products and consumers' increasing participation in peer-to-peer markets, this research examines the relationship between non-physicality of goods and disparities in seller-buyer valuations, a critical component of market inefficiencies. In a meta-analysis of 598 observations across 129 articles, the authors find that non-physical (vs. physical) goods have significantly larger seller-buyer valuation disparities (i.e., larger endowment effects). This pattern is consistent across non-physical categories, including market and non-market goods. The authors argue the immateriality of non-physical goods reduces evaluability and enhances perceived complexity, leading to greater asymmetries in information processing between sellers and buyers. Congruent with construal level theory, marketing tactics associated with low categorization levels (emphasizing product features) influence consumer valuations of physical goods, but not non-physical goods. Instead, consumer valuations of non-physical goods are asymmetrically influenced by tactics with high categorization levels (accentuating collective identity). This research foreshadows challenges in, and provides managerial implications for, the marketing and transactions of non-physical products.

TinyLedger: A Lightweight Blockchain Ledger Protocol for the MEC Network*

【Abstract】With the development of the Internet of Things, multi-access edge computing (MEC) is widely used in industrial IoT, intelligent transport systems, and IoT data management. As a decentralized, tamper-proof, multiparty trusted ledger technology, blockchain can enhance MEC security, privacy, and automatic use of resources. However, highly redundant storage and complex consensus prevent the blockchain from being directly deployed to edge computing nodes with limited resources. Unlike existing lightweight schemes, which do not consider liberating transaction data from blocks, this paper proposes a lightweight blockchain ledger protocol for MEC networks. The novelty of this work is that the transaction data in the block is compressed into a succinct proof through the zero-knowledge proof algorithm. To reduce the storage of block data, this paper proposes the proof-of-state-transfer model in which nodes verify the correctness of the global state transfer in the block without transactions. To reduce the communication complexity of consensus, this paper proposes a lightweight consensus protocol, which reduces the communication complexity of block voting and view switching to O(n). This paper develops the prototype system of TinyLedger to experiment and evaluate the performance of the system in terms of storage, verification, throughput, and communication. Experimental results show that compared to Ethereum, TinyLedger reduces storage capacity by 98.16%, communication volume by 74.53%, and block verification time by 87%.

The cyber-attacks against SCM are increasing day by day, and detecting these cyber-related attacks remains a challenging task. In general, deep learning algorithms are superior in handling complex datasets than machine learning approaches because of their layered structure and practical algorithms to extract the relevant information from the input training data. Deep Learning (DL) methodologies are rapidly being utilized to counter cyber-attacks on Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems. This research proposes a new method that leverages evolutionary and DL approaches to detect cyberattacks in a cloud-based SCM environment. The input data undergoes preprocessing to convert it to a suitable format. To reduce the complexity of high dimensional data and select the most relevant features, Evolution Social Spider Optimization (ESSO) is employed. A Deep Belief Network (DBM) trained by an Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) is then introduced to identify and classify cyber-attacks. The performance of the proposed network is improved through fine-tuning using Poor and Rich Optimization (PRO) algorithms. The proposed PRO-optimized ELM-trained DBM model aims to enhance security in the SCM environment by recognizing and classifying intrusions. The performance of the proposed model is experimented on benchmark datasets and compared with traditional approaches. The depicted results based on various measures show that the proposed ELMDBN-PRO in Blockchain of Things-Internet of Things (BoT-IoT) dataset achieves an average accuracy of 99%, mod bus dataset achieves 99.5% over recent approaches.

Multiparty watermarking protocol based on blockchain

【Abstract】With the development of multimedia and the Internet, the problem of multimedia copyright infringement has become more and more serious. The combination of digital watermark and security protocol plays a vital role in copyright protection of multimedia in the up-to-date open network environment. Most of the existing schemes involve trusted third parties and arbitration institutions, but they are not usually credible. This paper proposes a new watermarking protocol with multiple parties based on the blockchain. The protocol involves the buyer, the seller, the cloud platform and the blockchain. In the protocol, the certificateless secret key negotiation between the buyer and the seller is utilized to avoid "Man-in-the-middle Attack", and the cloud platform is used to perform homomorphic calculations and watermark embedding operation. By using the characteristics of the blockchain such as non-tamperability and traceability, the security and fairness of the protocol can be ensured.

Taming Wildcat Stablecoins

【Abstract】Cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins, are all the rage. Investors are exploring ways to profit off of them. Governments are considering ways to regulate them. While the technology underlying cryptocurrencies is new, the economics is centuries old. Oftentimes, lawmakers are so focused on understanding a new technological innovation that they fail to ask what exactly is being created. In this case, the new technology has recreated circulating private money in the form of stablecoins, which are similar to the banknotes that circulated in many countries during the nineteenth century. The implication is that stablecoin issuers are unregulated banks. Based on lessons learned from economic theory and financial history, we argue that circulating private money is not an effective medium of exchange because it is not always accepted at par and its issuers are vulnerable to destabilizing bank runs. We also explore the treatment of stablecoins under the existing legal framework and examine the upsides and downsides of interpretive, regulatory, and legislative options that attempt to mitigate the financial-stability risks associated with stablecoins. These options include requiring the issuance of stablecoins through banks, backing stablecoins one-for-one with safe assets, and establishing sovereign digital money to compete against private digital money.

RIPPLE EFFECT: THE SEC'S MAJOR QUESTIONS DOCTRINE PROBLEM

【Abstract】Crypto assets and blockchain technology have the potential to create unprecedented equitable access to financial institutions. Despite this potential, there is a robust debate regarding federal agencies' jurisdiction over the novel asset class. Without clear statutory guidelines, federal agencies have been forced to resolve this debate through the rulemaking process. However, agency rules regarding jurisdiction over crypto assets could be scrutinized by a reviewing court under the major questions doctrine. Once highly deferential to agency rules, the U.S. Supreme Court in recent terms has repeatedly struck down agency rules when an agency claims an unheralded power to regulate an issue of deep economic and political significance. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) arguably claims such a power by interpreting most crypto assets to be "investment contracts" and thus under SEC jurisdiction. But although a decision on major questions doctrine grounds in the high-profile case SEC v. Ripple Labs, Inc. could help clarify how we classify crypto assets, it leaves many jurisdictional questions unanswered and could complicate the application of the SEC's disclosure regime to risky crypto asset offerings. This Note argues that Congress should pass the Lummis-Gillibrand Responsible Financial Innovation Act to create joint jurisdiction between the SEC and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission over most crypto asset offerings to balance consumer protection and innovation at the frontier of financial innovation. This Note also endorses a new standard to evaluate whether a crypto asset is sufficiently decentralized to further clarify the SEC's role in regulating crypto asset offerings.

【Abstract】With the rapid development of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet technology, the product of the combination of the two, the Industrial Internet, has also received extensive attention and there are more and more research achievements related to the Industrial Internet. In the industrial Internet system, the communication network system composed of sensors, communication nodes, controllers and other intelligent devices can realize efficient and convenient data interaction between people and machines, providing an important infrastructure and technical support for industrial big data analysis and intelligent production. However, in the current industrial Internet system, industrial equipment users generally have the problem of low computing energy efficiency, and the collected industrial data has a high-security risk in the transmission, processing and other processes. At the same time, the size and scale of the industrial Internet equipment group is huge, and the lack of rational resource allocation leads to excessive waste of computing resources in the system, which is also a prominent problem of the current industrial Internet system.In response to the above questions, this paper, on the basis of reading a large number of documents, integrates the improved DRL algorithm, End-Edge-Cloud architecture and blockchain to form a new industrial Internet architecture. The architecture realizes computing offload through the three-tier structure of terminal layer, edge layer and cloud layer, and guarantees the security of industrial data through the decentralized feature of blockchain, ultimately achieving the goal of reducing energy consumption, computing overhead and trusted computing. In the architecture proposed in this paper, the dynamic unloading of industrial data and computing tasks is achieved through a three-tier architecture. The MDP is used to build an optimization problem model, and the improved DRL algorithm is used to iteratively solve the optimal computing resource scheduling strategy. The main research contents of this paper include (1) Using MDP to model optimization problems; (2) Propose an industrial Internet system architecture that integrates and improves DRL, "end edge cloud" and blockchain; (3) The MDP problem is solved iteratively based on deep reinforcement learning. The simulation results show that the proposed architecture has more advantages than the existing six architectures in terms of computing cost, equipment energy consumption and total working time.

【Abstract】Objective. - We have designed a methodological framework for experts involved in the support of decision -making in public health interventions. Methods. - The methodological framework consists of four elements: 1) A series of nine questions, formula-ted in non-technical terms, relevant to assessment of the usefulness of an intervention, at a given time in a given context; 2) Translation of these questions into concepts related to the evaluation of interventions (defi-nition of the intervention, its target and objective, potential and actual effectiveness, safety, efficiency, and equity); 3) Logical organization of the information needed to address and answer the questions; and 4) An algorithm to translate the available information into recommendations on the real usefulness of the inter-vention in the context in which the questions were raised. Results. - Each step is illustrated by questions raised about road safety interventions, screening, blood trans-fusion and measures proposed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion. - Decision-making can be facilitated if experts provide decision-makers with a formal summary of the strengths and weaknesses of existing knowledge, based on an analysis of all facets of an intervention's potential usefulness. Accelerating path tracing rendering with Multi-GPU in Blender cycles

【Abstract】Metaverse is one of the current hottest research fields, which not only requires rendering techniques such as path tracing but also rendering engines such as Blender. However, rendering scenes by path tracing is a complex and computationally intensive process, especially for large scenes, causing catastrophically slow rendering using only a single GPU. To improve rendering performance, we use multiple GPUs to achieve parallel rendering in Blender Cycles for path tracing. First, we distribute the workload based on pixel blocks. Each GPU renders one of the image fragments to finally combine the rendering results into a complete image. Second, we propose a Dynamic Workload Adjustment Algorithm (DWAA) to solve the workload imbalance problem. DWAA takes advantage of the fact that path tracing requires multiple samples, so it increases or decreases the work area of each GPU for the next ray sample according to the rendering time of each GPU's last path-tracing sample, which can reduce GPU idle time and improve overall rendering performance. To evaluate the Multi-GPUs rendering approach and DWAA, we use two different scale scenes - Babershop and Junkshop, and test them with different GPU clusters consisting of 2, 3, and 4 NVIDIA A100 GPUs respectively. The results show that compared to a single GPU, 2 GPUs can accelerate up to 1.98x, 3 GPUs up to 2.94x, and 4 GPUs up to 3.9x, which has high scalability and the parallelism is close to linear increase.

【Abstract】With the rise of the metaverse, more and more massively multi-user applications are to be expected. Because some of the data integrated in those virtual environments can be seen as highly sensitive, it is important to reinforce the applications with authentication methods to keep them safe. However, and while there are many authentication methods for 2D applications that could be regarded as safe enough, most of them do not provide a sufficient ease of use for VR applications. Henceforth, we propose an authentication method adapted to 3D user interfaces, based on toggling areas in a cubic grid. As illustrated in Figure 1, this leads to the construction of a voxelbased volume, which is an object simple enough to remember and playful to build, yet difficult to guess thanks to a high number of possibilities. For a more portable authentication method, the cubic grid is complemented by the generation of virtual keys representing the access a user has to a certain lock. The key acts as a metaphor that allows to easily share or grant access to secured objects or places in the VE.

【摘要】元宇宙是一个促进自我与他者及其更广大社会存在之联结意义上的“深度连接世界”,为当今城市治理提供了新的变革思路。在遵循“照看-化约-回应”基础性逻辑的主流城市治理思路与“复杂社会”(城市治理最重要的治理场景、治理对象与治理任务)之间出现个体、国家和组织三重连接危机的背景下,元宇宙能够突破“人的尺度”,自下而上地发现、整合乃至重塑个体的价值与力量,激活“全面个体”崛起成为城市治理的基本节点。通过“以自我治理推建城市社会治理共同体”“以置身事内的合作治理贯穿城市治理全过程”“以虚实交融的新公共组织促使城市政府科层组织变革”三种机制重新连接起复杂社会。在这一变革过程中,个体价值上升为整体价值,城市治理结构得以优化,价值创造方式得以改变,从而为走向城市治理现代化带来了可能。

【摘要】探索利用区块链技术提升政务服务水平成为当前实务界和学术界共同关注的热点议题。基于区块链技术机理优势和实际应用功效间差异的思考,该研究结合技术采纳研究基础及调适性结构化理论,依托行动者、技术、组织结构特征的三者互动关系来认识政务服务领域区块链技术的采纳机理,并利用Y市L区“区块链+政务服务”改革案例进行验证和补充。研究发现,改革行动者与政府组织结构特征二者间有限互动使得区块链技术应用效果受到影响,区块链技术采纳呈现“调适性有限采纳”的特征。基于此,该研究创新提出“技术嵌入-有限变革-技术调适”有限技术采纳模型来解释技术采纳的程度性和应用效果的有限性。研究进一步提出,在技术采纳过程中,可基于组织实际情况匹配和嵌入相应技术结构,并完成与技术结构相适配的组织变革,以此更好提高技术的应用效果。

【摘要】数字化时代背景下,区块链技术在建设数字中国和实现社会治理现代化中发挥着重要作用。然而,现有研究重点关注了区块链技术对社会的影响,却忽视了社会对区块链技术的形塑。基于社会形塑论,在肯定区块链技术对社会的影响基础上,厘清了区块链技术与社会的相互作用。从区块链技术本质、特征和功能、价值以及演化发展诸方面,考察了区块链技术的社会形塑机制,论证了社会需求、选择、评价、调控等对区块链技术形成和发展的形塑。论文对克服技术决定论的片面思维,建设数字中国具有现实意义。

基于CP-ABSE的农机社会化服务联盟链隐私匹配方案

【摘要】针对多个农机社会化服务平台联合,实现跨平台任务匹配中存在的敏感数据泄露和集中式服务器不可信问题,该研究提出了基于密文策略属性基可搜索加密(CP-ABSE)的农机社会化服务联盟链隐私匹配方案。该方案基于联盟链构建农机社会化服务联合平台,为多平台数据共享提供去中心化的可信环境;基于CP-ABSE技术实现跨平台的任务匹配,支持对任务密文数据的检索以及细粒度的访问控制,保护作业任务发布方和农机手的敏感数据;使用智能合约实现农田作业任务与农机手之间的匹配服务,避免集中式服务器存在的单点故障和恶意违规操作等问题。安全性分析表明,该方案能够保证数据的完整性、机密性以及匹配结果的可信性。基于Hyperledger Fabric构建了一个原型系统,测试结果表明,当全局属性数量为200时,系统构建和私钥生成的运行时间分别约8和2.5 s,搜索令牌生成与数据加密的计算开销分别为60和80 ms,匹配智能合约平均时延约为250 ms。该方案破解了农机社会化服务平台间的“数据孤岛”问题,对于促进农机社会化服务的推广具有重要的意义。

【摘要】区块链技术因其去中心化、高透明度等优良特性引领了新一代数据存储技术的发展,近年来广泛应用于社会治理、金融保险、数字版权等领域。然而,作为一个基于规范和协议的自封闭系统,区块链不同链间无法直接实现数据通信,难以满足跨领域应用的数据共享需求,区块链互操作性技术应运而生。目前,该技术的项目实例分析较少。基于区块链互操作性最新研究成果,系统性总结了近年来互操作技术的代表性方案,并归纳展望了发展前景。首先,按照通信各链的结构差异,将区块链互操作方法划分成同构扩容和异构互操作两种类型;其次,按照技术发展脉络和区块链分层架构,分别介绍两种类型的代表性方法,分析比较了各方法的实现原理和技术细节,归纳总结它们的优缺点;再次,介绍了目前已经实施的区块链互操作性项目研发进展,重点介绍其实现思路、运营模式和现状,并在吞吐量、安全性等多个指标上对比分析其性能;最后展望了区块链互操作性技术各方向的发展趋势。

【摘要】元宇宙是2021年以来在商业界和学术界大火的用于描述虚实融合与互动的概念。为研究这一概念可能的军事应用,梳理了元宇宙的定义、特征及发展脉络,从军事元宇宙对建模仿真技术和传统实况-虚拟-构造仿真(LVC)拓展的角度分析了构建军事元宇宙的必要性,从训练、作战、数据信息资源管理的现实需求角度研究了军事元宇宙可能带来的改进,分析了目前宣称正在开发的军事元宇宙雏形产品及其典型开发方式。

基于简短可验证环签名的区块链版权存证协议

【摘要】在现有区块链版权存证系统中,各种环签名占用过多存储空间,数据共识算法效率有待提高。针对这些问题,使用动态累加器对环成员公钥进行累加,分别设计了初始化、系统选取、密钥生成、签名生成、签名验证等算法,构造多私钥生成器的身份基简短可验证环签名方案;为主节点选取设置信用阈值,降低允许参与共识的最大节点数,改进已有的联盟链共识算法;利用构造的新环签名方案及改进的共识算法,提出一种新的区块链版权存证协议。最后,对签名方案的不可伪造性及匿名性进行了形式化证明;对签名方案的计算效率及存储空间进行了分析和仿真,对存证系统的共识算法和容错性进行了实验评估。结果显示,本协议节省了签名时间开销和存储空间,提高了共识效率和容错性。
