【Abstract】Nowadays, creating a blockchain-based system for supply chain tracing is a complex task. This paper defines a model, a graphical domain specific language, and a set of tools aimed at helping supply chain domain experts to create blockchain based tracing systems for their supply chains. Starting from a graphical representation of the supply chain, the solidity smart contracts implementing the related tracing system are automatically generated by our framework. Small interventions of programmers are required to customize and finalize such smart contracts. A set of web based interfaces to interact with such smart contracts are also automatically generated. We are confident that our results will increase blockchain usage for supply chain traceability thanks to the automatic process of smart contract generation. & COPY; 2023 The Author(s). 【Abstract】The impact of digital finance on green bonds and clean energy sources is analyzed. So, the primary objective of this study is to create a unique time-varying causality test to identify the relationship between ecological consciousness and green technology, clean energy, and digital currency. The China region was established using data from 2001 to 2019. A dynamic connection model with spillover is employed to further guarantee stability. The empirical findings reveal that the clean energy to digital finance index (30.544%) and the clean energy to green economy index (30.544%) are the sources for the spillover shocks analysis. because the overall dynamic connection of assets throughout time is affected by financial events. For every additional percentage point that renewable energy sources are employed, long-term environmental costs are lowered by 0.68%. And yet, the transition from renewable energy to digital finance has been characterised by increasing instability and causal significance as it has advanced. The organizational environment is shown to have the second-greatest influence on the growth of the green bond market, behind the state of the local economy and environmental governance. Increasing the marketability of clean energy securities requires stable, predictable legislation that improves our knowledge of the risk profile of these investments.

【Abstract】Academic and practitioner interest in crypto-assets is gaining momentum. Different values and agendas influence regulatory policy. Competing ideologies and social norms about the efficacy of regulatory regimes, the influence of innovation philosophies, and the need to foster ethical principles and practices underpin debates on crypto-assets. Semi-structured interviews were carried out in the USA and UK with regulators, tech firms, institutional and retail investors, and crypto social media influencers. Stakeholder groups were classified as interventionists, innovators, influencers, and investors. The research builds a data structure from extant literature and empirical research. Aggregate dimensions of inchoate technology, regulatory intervention, and innovation social norms reflect complex and competing stakeholder positions on crypto assets. Findings show crypto-assets are not homogenous, but highly differentiated with potential effects and outcomes determined by algorithmic code. However, competing stakeholder agendas obfuscate policy development for decentralized finance.

【Abstract】The Bitcoin blockchain safety relies on strong network synchrony. Therefore, violating the blockchain safety requires strong adversaries that control a mining pool with approximate to 51% hash rate. In this paper, we show that the network synchrony does not hold in the real world Bitcoin network which can be exploited to feasibly violate the blockchain safety and chain quality. Towards that, first we construct the Bitcoin ideal functionality to formally specify its ideal execution model in a synchronous network. We then develop a large-scale data collection system through which we connect with more than 103K IP addresses of the Bitcoin nodes and identify 871 mining nodes. We contrast the ideal functionality against the real world measurements to expose the network anomalies that can be exploited to optimize the existing attacks. Particularly, we observe a non-uniform block propagation pattern among the mining nodes showing that the Bitcoin network is asynchronous in practice. To realize the threat of an asynchronous network, we present the HashSplit attack that allows an adversary to orchestrate concurrent mining on multiple branches of the blockchain to violate common prefix and chain quality properties. We also propose the attack countermeasures by tweaking Bitcoin Core to model the Bitcoin ideal functionality. Our measurements, theoretical modeling, proposed attack, and countermeasures open new directions in the security evaluation of Bitcoin and similar blockchain systems.

【Abstract】The prominent form of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is found in the gaming industry. NFT games received immense attention during the COVID-19 pandemic because of their play-to-earn model. NFT gamers can enjoy and increase their finances in their spare time. Hence, the researchers utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to investigate the intention and immersive behaviors of 1082 respondents. The modified framework from the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Hedonic Motivation System Adoption Model (HMSAM) underwent SEM tests. These theories and methods were used to analyze relationships among hypotheses and assess factors influencing NFT game engagement. The results showed that hedonic motivation produced positive and significant influences on perceived usefulness, curiosity, joy, attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Subjective norms significantly influenced perceived ease of use. In due course, perceived ease of use yielded positive and significant effects on perceived usefulness, joy, attitude, and perceived behavioral control. Moreover, perceived usefulness, curiosity, joy, attitude, and perceived behavioral control had significant positive effects on behavioral intention. In addition, perceived usefulness, curiosity, joy, and attitude significantly and positively affected immersion. Meanwhile, only four hypotheses were not supported by the study. These findings were translated into theoretical and managerial implications to contribute to the academe given the strong the change of behavior of users towards NFT games during the pandemic; gaming industry since they will be able to develop, improve and create a new ecosystem in the gaming space, and NFT stakeholders since they will benefit from the development that will influence this study.

【Abstract】This study investigates the association between energy consumption in Bitcoin mining and energy indices. The study also examines the moderating effect of COVID-19 on the relationships between energy consumption in Bitcoin mining and energy indices. We applied vector autoregression and vector error correction models. Before COVID-19, the relationship between Bitcoin mining and the clean energy index was significant. However, after the pandemic, this relation was found to be less significant compared to Bitcoin mining and the dirty energy index association. The findings help investors and policymakers to understand the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining.

【Abstract】Employing the vector auto-regression based on generalized forecast error variance decomposition, this paper investigates the connectedness of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with precious and industrial metals and compares the results with those for conventional cryptocurrencies (CCCs). Our study scrutinizes separately the total static and the net dynamic spillovers of returns and volatilities from March 2018 to August 2021. We evidence that both, the total return and total volatility connectedness indices for the NFTs-metals framework are below the respective indices for the CCCs-metals framework, indicating new avenues for hedging and harvesting diversification benefits of NFT exposures. We provide empirical evidence that the NFTs are distinct from the CCCs not only in terms of the volatility spillovers, but in terms of the return spillovers too. In addition, we observe the decoupling in the net volatility spillovers between the precious and non precious metals due to the COVID-19 meltdown. COVID-19 makes precious metals transmit volatility while industrial metals continue acting as net receivers of volatility shocks. Optimal weight and hedge ratios are presented for NFT-metal and crypto-metal pairs. These findings provide potential implications for investors and policy makers.

【Abstract】Central banks worldwide generally consider Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) the future direction of monetary development. However, the current research on CBDCs is more at the technical and economic level, with few studies conducted on the user experience (UX) of CBDCs. This work examines the impact of dynamic page interaction effects and multimodal operational feedback on the CBDC UX. This work is a 3 (dynamic page interaction) x 4 (multimodal operational feedback) mixed factorial design to evaluate the impact of the study variables on users' task performance and subjective evaluations. The experimental results show that dynamic page interactions and multimodal operational feedback influence the user task performance of a CBDC. Moreover, the CBDC interface with dynamic page interaction and multimodal operational feedback is rated higher regarding user usability. In addition, the tactile feedback may be related to the CBDC user recommendation index. Finally, although dynamic page interactions have higher user preferences than non-dynamic ones, they may bring users less of a sense of security. The above findings could provide theoretical support for national central banks preparing to issue CBDCs, and have positive implications for the future development of the CBDC UX.
