【Abstract】Against the milieu of rapidly growing investment in technologically induced assets, this study examines the investment role of Bitcoin, fintech, and artificial intelligence (AI) stocks in relation to major environmentally friendly assets (green bonds, sustainable investments, and clean energy), Islamic stocks, and conventional financial markets using quantile-based approaches. To this end, we specifically examine the distributional and directional predictability between the returns of fintech, Bitcoin, and AI and various markets using the nonparametric causality-in-quantiles method and the cross-quantilogram correlation method respectively. We use daily data spanning March 9, 2018 to January 27, 2021. In terms of the distributional predictability of fintech, Bitcoin, and AI in relation to the traditional markets, Islamic stocks, clean energy stocks, and sustainable investments, we find strong evidence of causal asymmetry across quantiles and strong variations across markets. Likewise, findings in terms of directional predictability between the returns of fintech, Bitcoin, and AI and various markets infer that Islamic stocks act as a good hedge against Bitcoin. The S & P Treasury Bond and S & P Green Bond are also perfect hedges for fintech stocks, while S & P Global Clean Energy is a perfect hedge for AI stocks in terms of long-term dynamics.

【Abstract】Using Russian-Ukraine war as an exogenous event, we investigate whether Bitcoin is used to evade financial sanctions. We follow three avenues to explore this problem. First, we investigate Bitcoin trading volume pre-and post-Russia's invasion. Second, we explored price and return relationships between Bitcoin and other major asset classes during the same period. Lastly, we investigate the associations between Bitcoin trading volume and Russia oil export by sea. Overall, our results suggest that Bitcoin is not used to evade sanctions in large scale.

【Abstract】Bitcoin uses a decentralized network of miners and a distributed consensus algorithm to agree on blockchains to process transactions, and designs certain incentive strategy to ensure the system run persistently. However, recent research finds that it is vulnerable to specific game-theoretic attacks, in which a rational attack can gain a disproportionate share of reward by deviating from the honest behaviors. Among these attacks, stubborn mining is generally regarded as the most effective one. This paper propose the optimal stub-born mining strategy, trying to obtain the maximum revenue in stubborn mining. Through careful analysis, we find that the mining strategies in stubborn mining, under different conditions, can be represented as a Markovian Decision Process (MDP), and solving the MDP can result in the optimal strategy. In solving the MDP, we first transform it into a transition-reward Matrices, and then evaluate it to get the largest reward. With the method mentioned above, the attackers can get 46.9% additional than honest miners, and this attack outweighs traditional selfish mining (a compelling and well-studied mining attack) by up to 7.53%.& COPY; 2023 Elsevier Inc. 【Abstract】Inconsistency of consensus results in blockchain forks, which create a new financial risk. After filtering out Bitcoin's linear, nonlinear, and lag impacts on forked coins, this study employs a bottom-up hierarchical clustering algorithm to examine the logarithmic return series for Bitcoin and its 14 forked coins from 2018 to 2021. The results indicate that the market for forked coins can be divided into three clusters: SegWit-supported forked coins, mature forked coins, and the latest forked coins. Bitcoin and the mature forked coins form a cluster, and its performance is superior to others. Although Bitcoin's return significantly affects that of its forked coins, it does not affect the market structure. Furthermore, this study provides references for risk aversion among investors in forked coins and presents macro-level information for cryptocurrency market authorities.

【Abstract】Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are individual tokens with valuable information stored inside them over blockchain technology. They can be purchased and sold like other physical and virtual art pieces because their worth is mostly determined by the market and demand. The unique data of NFTs render it simple to verify and authenticate their ownership and transfer of tokens between owners. However, in Pakistan, developers cannot acquire different licences to accomplish their projects not because they cannot afford it, but because they cannot invest in every piece of software to accomplish each new sensitive task. Rather, they can render the product platform independent. Considering this technology, this paper provides IT professionals with a new NFT approach and business policies that solely belong to the information technology domain. In addition, this paper also introduces how NFT tokens can hold software applications. Since we can store files, we can let NFTs also store complete applications to help developers in further utilising virtuality and having the metaverse at their fingertips. Whenever they succeed in a project, they never receive rewards, and their skills only pay the bills. In a nutshell, this paper presents a prototype of NFTs that would be further polished to save and utilise applications in a decentralised manner while rewarding the developers.

【Abstract】The news about the US interest rate is expected to cause significant changes in cryptocurrency markets in the 2020s. The asymmetric effects of the interest rate on the Bitcoin price were analyzed by using a SVAR model for the monthly period between January 2012 and October 2022. The selected variables are the VIX, interest rate spread, positive and negative real interest rates, DXY, the gold price, and the oil price. According to the variance decomposition, negative real interest rate shocks created a stronger influence than positive real interest rate shocks on the Bitcoin price. The negative real interest rate shocks became the most explanatory indicator over the period. Impulse response functions indicated that the response of the Bitcoin price to the positive interest rate was insignificant. However, its response to the negative real interest rate became negative and significant only during the mid-term. As a consequence, the negative real interest rate significantly influences the Bitcoin price. The results provide important implications for policymakers, portfolio managers, and investors.

【Abstract】This study investigates the predictability of six significant cryptocurrencies for the upcoming two days using AI techniques i.e., machine learning algorithms like random forest and gradient for predicting the price of these six cryptocurrencies. The study presents to us that machine learning can be seen as a medium to predict the prices of cryptocurrencies. A machine learning system learns from past data, constructs prediction models, and predicts the output for new data whenever it gets it. Predicted output's accuracy is influenced by the quantity of data since the more data there is, the better the model can predict the output. The results show that with the accuracy score performance metric, which we employed for this study, we were able to calculate the accuracy of the algorithms and find that both algorithms random forest and gradient boosting respectively performed well for the cryptocurrencies such as Solana (98.07%,98.14%), Binance (96.56%, 96.85%), and Ethereum (96.61%, 96.60%)), with the exception of Tether (0.38%, 12.35%) and USD coin (-0.59%, 1.48%), the results demonstrate that both algorithms work effectively with themajority of cryptocurrencies which can be further increased by using deep learning algorithms like ANN, RNN or LSTM.

【Abstract】The perceived benefits of integrating Blockchain Technology (BT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have profound importance from qualitative and quantitative perspectives to real-world applications. However, the academic literature connecting the two is largely absent. This study reviews the adoption of Blockchain applications in diversified sectors that contribute to its reshaping through AI and are not limited to digital currency, trade connection, or information processing. A term-searching mechanism addresses the research question through a formalized plan for reviewing field-wise blockchain papers. The keywords Blockchain, blockchain-based applications, and artificial intelligence assess the secondary literature published until the first quarter of 2021. Twenty-one use cases where BT proved its permanence theoretically or empirically about AI are identified based on equality and feasibility. Moreover, the potential of BT goes beyond the hindrances of techno-socioeconomic space concerns, thus contributing to research and business innovation. This study can be considered one of the first academic articles connecting BT and its application spread over IT and related industrial environments/sectors/ fields for improving the movement of AI. In addition to trust and awareness, integrating AI and Blockchain will lead to a future beyond the reactive machine's limitation.

【Abstract】Attribute-based keyword search (ABKS) achieved significant attention for data privacy and fine-grained access control of outsourced cloud data. However, most of the existing ABKS schemes are designed based on a semi-honest and curious cloud storage system in which the search fairness between two parties becomes questionable. Hence, it is vital to building a protocol that provides mutual trust between the cloud and its users. This paper proposes a blockchain-aided keyword search over encrypted data, which achieves search fairness between the cloud and its users using Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts. Additionally, the system accomplishes fine-grained access control, limiting access to the data to only those who have been given permission. Besides, the scheme allows multi keyword search by the users. The security analysis shows that our scheme is indistinguishable against chosen-plaintext attack and other malicious attacks. The performance analysis shows that the scheme is efficient.

【Abstract】The next revolutionary technology to emerge since the creation of bitcoin in 2008 is blockchain technology. The Internet of Things (IoT), security, and other industries have all adopted blockchain technology. The article discusses the use of smart contracts, an Ethereum blockchain feature, to automate transactions in the Ethereum blockchain-based marketplace platform for Internet of Things devices. The following is demonstrated as a proof of concept by building a prototype of the suggested platform utilisingEthereum, Ganache, Web3, andMetamask. This exemplifies how transactions can be automated using smart contracts on the blockchain. When the land's moisture content is less than some critical value, the prototype concentrates on automating the watering of the land. Real-time monitoring of the moisture level of the consumer's land is possible. On the basis of the centralised paradigm, attempts are being made to construct such a system. The goal is to automate every activity. In the blockchain, the smart contract functions like a living thing. Because of this, automating is made possible. The blockchain also gives each gadget a unique account, considering them as participants in the transaction rather than just the sold goods, increasing the potential for automation.
