【Abstract】Due to the complexity of building supply chain resilience (SCR) towards long-term environmental sustainability amendments, the use of emerging technologies such as Blockchain Technology (BCT) can be adopted as an innovative tool to enhance the sustainability and resilience of supply chains, especially in uncertain environments. Drawing on the Knowledge-Based View (KBV) and Dynamic Capability View (DCV), this research aims to demonstrate how the adoption of BCT can enhance the environmental supply chain performance (SCP). A total of 603 valid surveys were collected from respondents from manufacturing and service organizations in Egypt. The collected data were analyzed using structural equation modelling, and results revealed that BCT adoption alone had a negative direct impact on environmental SCP. However, when this relationship was mediated by SCR and sequentially mediated by customer integration and green customer information sharing, the results were positive. This research presents insights on how organizations can adapt to dynamic business environments, and, in addition, it extends the theories of KBV and DCV in an empirical contribution by filling the gap in understanding regarding how environmental SCP can be enhanced through the adoption of BCT.

【Abstract】Food product safety and quality are considered to be of the utmost significance on a global scale. Highly publicized food safety incidents have significantly increased public interest in food traceability, defined as "the ability to track any food, feed, food-producing animal or substance that will be used for consumption, through all stages of production, processing, and distribution" (European Union). The World Health Organization (WHO) suggests that governments, producers, and consumers work together to ensure food safety, which calls for the dissemination of pertinent information throughout complex food value networks. Therefore, it is in the best interest of profit-driven businesses to implement information systems for tracking food goods, a significant byproduct of which is the likelihood of increased profitability. This paper aims to explore the ample possibilities for such implementations that are now available thanks to blockchain technology. In particular, the goal is to explore the dynamics of this technology and identify how it helps to create good customer relationships. For this purpose, the case of Lavazza, an important Italian roasted coffee company that has recently introduced a blockchain-tracked product to the market, is analyzed in detail, including all the steps that made the application of the technology possible and how it was finally communicated to the consumer. The case study offers a concrete example that resulted from both stakeholders' internal need for greater traceability and consumers' external need for greater transparency regarding the company's sourcing processes. In this pilot project, collaboration among all the entities that are part of the chain was essential to delivering a formative, customized, and ultimately, easy-to-understand experience to the end consumer. Finally, Lavazza is an example of a company that decided to challenge itself by following a trend that will be increasingly present in future socioeconomic scenarios.

【Abstract】Digital technologies like blockchain, the Internet of Things, and smart warehouses have been developed due to the fourth industrial revolution, or "Industry 4.0." Any business' supply chain includes several stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and final consumers. The demand for firms to utilize these technologies to gain competitive advantages has intensified in the modern world due to rising worldwide rivalry. Additionally, the adoption of blockchain technology, in particular, can have a huge impact on a company's reverse logistics, accelerating processes by decentralizing, tracking, and overseeing the delivery of items to final consumers. The goal of this study is to pinpoint those significant obstacles because several must be overcome for blockchain technology to be successfully implemented in reverse logistics. This study identified 16 impediments to the adoption of blockchain technology after a thorough analysis of the literature and expert opinion. The fuzzy AHP approach was used in this study to rank those barriers as this approach helps to address the complexity and uncertainty associated with decision-making in supply chain management and provides a more robust and reliable ranking of the barriers to blockchain adoption. A case study of Pakistan's e-commerce industry was carried out. The results show that the high installation cost, stakeholders' resistance to the blockchain, and the lack of top-management support are the critical success factors in blockchain adoption. From an industrial perspective, the study highlights the need for businesses to carefully evaluate the potential benefits and costs of adopting blockchain technology. It also underscores the importance of addressing the barriers to adoption to ensure successful implementation. By doing so, businesses can enhance their supply chain management and improve their overall competitiveness.

【Abstract】With the rapid development of Internet of Vehicles (IoV), particularly the introduction of mobile edge computing (MEC), vehicles can efficiently share data with one another. However, edge computing nodes are vulnerable to various network attacks, posing security risks to data storage and sharing. Moreover, the presence of abnormal vehicles during the sharing process poses significant security threats to the entire network. To address these issues, this paper proposes a novel reputation management scheme, which proposes an improved multi-source multi-weight subjective logic algorithm. This algorithm fuses direct and indirect opinion feedback of nodes through the subjective logic trust model while considering factors such as event validity, familiarity, timeliness, and trajectory similarity. Vehicle reputation values are periodically updated, and abnormal vehicles are identified through reputation thresholds. Finally, blockchain technology is employed to ensure the security of data storage and sharing. By analyzing real vehicle trajectory datasets, the algorithm is proven to effectively improve the differentiation and detection rate of abnormal vehicles.

【Abstract】The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) enables vehicles to share data that help vehicles perceive the surrounding environment. However, vehicles can spread false information to other IoV nodes; this incorrect information misleads vehicles and causes confusion in traffic, therefore, a vehicular trust model is needed to check the trustworthiness of the message. To eliminate the spread of false information and detect malicious nodes, we propose a double-layer blockchain trust management (DLBTM) mechanism to objectively and accurately evaluate the trustworthiness of vehicle messages. The double-layer blockchain consists of the vehicle blockchain and the RSU blockchain. We also quantify the evaluation behavior of vehicles to show the trust value of the vehicle's historical behavior. Our DLBTM uses logistic regression to accurately compute the trust value of vehicles, and then predict the probability of vehicles providing satisfactory service to other nodes in the next stage. The simulation results show that our DLBTM can effectively identify malicious nodes, and over time, the system can recognize at least 90% of malicious nodes.

【Abstract】Digital marketing refers to the transformation of enterprise marketing activities into products and services required by consumers to participate in the marketing process by using digital information technology and taking consumers as the center on the digital marketing platform. In the new era, digital marketing presents an unprecedented trend of development and is highly concerned by all sectors of society. Digital marketing management control system is a very important and core concept in the progress of digital marketing. Based on blockchain technology, product digital marketing resources (such as customer resources, marketing resources, etc.) and enterprise resources (such as customer information, customer relations, etc.) can be integrated. This paper conducted an experimental comparative study on blockchain and digital marketing management system. Before blockchain technology was applied, Store A had a low market share. In the peak sales season, its product sales rate reached the highest level of the year. After the application of blockchain technology and digital marketing control system, the clothing sales rate reached a peak of 51.3% in February. Since the blockchain technology has been applied in Store B, the changes of its indicators are basically consistent with that of Store A. In February, the annual sales rate and pre-sales consultation rate reached the peak of 68.9% and 70.1%, respectively, showing an upward trend compared with the previous year. With the continuous development and integrated application of blockchain technology and digital marketing industry, it is a general trend to build a digital marketing management control system based on blockchain technology. The purpose of this paper is to study the performance characteristics of blockchain-based digital marketing management and control system in the context of the Internet, hoping to achieve the true and effective transmission of user data in digital marketing activities, and greatly improve the level of online marketing promotion and service of enterprises.

【Abstract】Agriculture is the primary source of economic growth in many countries in West Africa. It provides food and livelihoods for the population. The purpose of this study is to review the digital agriculture status in five countries, namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria. The study consisted of a bibliometric analysis using a database exported from the web of science through a well-defined search string. Additionally, the cases of digital technology deployment in the countries were assessed through a systematic review approach comparing the technologies used in the target countries. Representative articles from the bibliometric review published in the last five years were selected for the comparative analysis. The bibliometric analysis based on 3,249 publications revealed that the research interests have significantly increased since 2014. The top two countries in terms of authors' nationality were Nigeria and Ghana, respectively. Climate change, Machine Learning (ML) and adoption were the hot topics of discussion. The digital agriculture survey showed that publications in Nigeria were focused on Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensors Networks, blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (IA) technologies. Ghana also has a strong interest in blockchain, AI, and big data, while Burkina Faso focused on IoT and AI. Cote d'Ivoire and Benin focused only on AI.

【Abstract】The integration of variable renewable energy sources in islands has become crucial in reducing their dependency on imported fossil fuels. This study aimed to assess the energy transition of an island towards a 100% renewable energy system for power generation, inland transport, and potable water provision. Linking various fossil-fuel-consuming sectors, such as transport and potable water supply systems, may strongly assist in reducing the possible mismatch between renewable energy source production and demand and contribute to fulfilling other system requirements. The use of energy storage technologies is vital and unlike traditional power systems; as the number of components in the system increases, their proper capacity needs to be accurately determined. This work employs a multi-objective optimization assessment using a modified NSGA-II algorithm to depict the energy transition for Porto Santo Island. To evaluate the solutions, we considered the main criteria of energy cost, avoided environmental impacts (CO2-equivalent emissions) of the proposed system, and loss of power supply. The Pareto front contains various solutions under different system configurations. Results indicate that full inland transport electrification (introducing 3000 EVs) can account for 18% of the avoided CO2 emissions of the island while sharing 28-40% of the up-front cost of the system, depending on the proposed system's components. The EV's costs incorporate subsidies and their battery replacement. Another interesting finding from the optimization process is that the solution with the highest avoided CO2 emissions involves keeping a diesel generator for supplying 4% of the island's total demand and using an underwater compressed air energy storage with a capacity of 280 MWh. This suggests that adding more installed wind turbines or PV panels may not necessarily contribute to reducing the emissions of the entire system.

【Abstract】Diversified traffic participants and complex traffic environment (e.g., roadblocks or road damage exist) challenge the decision-making accuracy of a single connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) due to its limited sensing and computing capabilities. Using Internet of Vehicles (IoV) to share driving rules between CAVs can break limitations of a single CAV, but at the same time may cause privacy and safety issues. To tackle this problem, this paper proposes to combine IoV and blockchain technologies to form an efficient and accurate autonomous guidance strategy. Specifically, we first use reinforcement learning for driving decision learning, and give the corresponding driving rule extraction method. Then, an architecture combining IoV and blockchain is designed to ensure secure driving rule sharing. Finally, the shared rules will form an effective autonomous driving guidance strategy through driving rules selection and action selection. Extensive simulation proves that the proposed strategy performs well in complex traffic environment, mainly in terms of accuracy, safety, and robustness.

【Abstract】To ensure the security of resource and intelligence sharing in 6G, blockchain has been widely adopted in wireless communications and applications. Although blockchain can ensure the traceability and non-tamperability of data in the concatenated blocks, it cannot guarantee the honest behaviors of users in the application before the generation of transactions. Thus, additional technologies are required to ensure that the source of blockchain data is reliable. In this paper, the detailed procedure is designed for the application-oriented task validation in the blockchain-enhanced computing resource sharing and transactions in ultra dense networks (UDN). The corresponding queuing model is built and analyzed with the consideration of the wireless re-transmission and the probability of malicious deception by users. Based on the analysis results, the UDN deployment is optimized to save network cost while ensuring latency performance. Numerical results verify our analysis, and the optimized system deployment including the number and service capacities of both base stations and mobile edge computing (MEC) servers are also given with various system settings.

【Abstract】The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a network of healthcare devices such as wearables, diagnostic equipment, and implantable devices, which are linked to the internet and can communicate with one another. Blockchain (BC) technology can design a secure, decentralized system to store and share medical data in an IoMT-based intelligent healthcare system. Patient records were stored in a tamper-proof and decentralized way using BC, which provides high privacy and security for the patients. Furthermore, BC enables efficient and secure sharing of healthcare data between patients and health professionals, enhancing healthcare quality. Therefore, in this paper, we develop an IoMT with a blockchain-based smart healthcare system using encryption with an optimal deep learning (BSHS-EODL) model. The presented BSHS-EODL method allows BC-assisted secured image transmission and diagnoses models for the IoMT environment. The proposed method includes data classification, data collection, and image encryption. Initially, the IoMT devices enable data collection processes, and the gathered images are stored in BC for security. Then, image encryption is applied for data encryption, and its key generation method can be performed via the dingo optimization algorithm (DOA). Finally, the BSHS-EODL technique performs disease diagnosis comprising SqueezeNet, Bayesian optimization (BO) based parameter tuning, and voting extreme learning machine (VELM). A comprehensive set of simulation analyses on medical datasets highlights the betterment of the BSHS-EODL method over existing techniques with a maximum accuracy of 98.51%, whereas the existing methods such as DBN, YOLO-GC, ResNet, VGG-19, and CDNN models have lower accuracies of 94.15%, 94.24%, 96.19%, 91.19%, and 95.29% respectively.

【Abstract】Blockchain technology affords data integrity protection and building trust mechanisms in transactions for distributed networks, and, therefore, is seen as a promising revolutionary information technology. At the same time, the ongoing breakthrough in quantum computation technology contributes toward large-scale quantum computers, which might attack classic cryptography, seriously threatening the classic cryptography security currently employed in the blockchain. As a better alternative, a quantum blockchain has high expectations of being immune to quantum computing attacks perpetrated by quantum adversaries. Although several works have been presented, the problems of impracticality and inefficiency in quantum blockchain systems remain prominent and need to be addressed. First, this paper develops a quantum-secure blockchain (QSB) scheme by introducing a consensus mechanism-quantum proof of authority (QPoA) and an identity-based quantum signature (IQS)-wherein QPoA is used for new block generation and IQS is used for transaction signing and verification. Second, QPoA is developed by adopting a quantum voting protocol to achieve secure and efficient decentralization for the blockchain system, and a quantum random number generator (QRNG) is deployed for randomized leader node election to protect the blockchain system from centralized attacks like distributed denial of service (DDoS). Compared to previous work, our scheme is more practical and efficient without sacrificing security, greatly contributing to better addressing the challenges in the quantum era. Extensive security analysis demonstrates that our scheme provides better protection against quantum computing attacks than classic blockchains. Overall, our scheme presents a feasible solution for blockchain systems against quantum computing attacks through a quantum strategy, contributing toward quantum-secured blockchain in the quantum era.

【Abstract】Due to the high mobility of vehicles and the high dynamics of SIoV network topology, the communication between users will be frequently interrupted, thus affecting the service quality of users. In addition, due to the open nature of the SIoV wireless channel, any user can broadcast messages in the system. However, unreliable users pose serious security threats to other users on the network. In order to solve these problems, we propose a feature cluster-based secure data transmission method (FC-SDTM) to ensure safe and stable data transmission between vehicles. This method creates feature clusters according to the feature similarity of users, which provides the stability of communication between users and improves users' reliability in the cluster. Second, consortium blockchains store the transmission data sent by the sender in the cluster for the receiver to verify, further ensuring the security of intra-cluster communication. Finally, the random number key reduces the running time of the proposed method and solves the security problem caused by cluster topology updates. The experimental results demonstrate that this method can reduce the system running time and the message exposure rate, while also improving transmission accuracy.

【Abstract】Currently, human activity has a substantial impact on the environment, and we are responsible for determining what it will look like in a few or a dozen decades. Numerous IT solutions are being developed to reduce the negative influence on the environment. In particular, the main problem is the amount of plastic found in circulation and its recycling. Unfortunately, only few solutions exist that, on the one hand, support the reuse of the raw material and, on the other hand, give tangible benefits to users. In this work, we present a blockchain-based system for monitoring the recycling process of plastic bottles. The solution was described by technical, social, and performance characteristics. It should be emphasized that the adopted features of the new blockchain, such as a simplified code or complete decentralization, distinguish the solution from those currently created. Moreover, performance and fraud detection tests were performed. The results present that the solution for a PoW difficulty level of 3 still achieves decent times when generating a block with transactions (from the point of view of the recycling process). In addition, fraud detection tests have proven the ability to detect forged transactions. The outcomes from performed experiments show that the proposed concept can be used as an efficient and fraud-resilient solution in the case of the plastic recycling process.

【Abstract】The growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices in the healthcare sector enables the new era of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). However, IoT devices are susceptible to various cybersecurity attacks and threats, which lead to negative consequences. Cyberattacks can damage not just the IoMT devices in use but also human life. Currently, several security solutions have been proposed to enhance the security of the IoMT, employing machine learning (ML) and blockchain. ML can be used to develop detection and classification methods to identify cyberattacks targeting IoMT devices in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, blockchain technology enables a decentralized approach to the healthcare system, eliminating some disadvantages of a centralized system, such as a single point of failure. This paper proposes a resilient security framework integrating a Tri-layered Neural Network (TNN) and blockchain technology in the healthcare domain. The TNN detects malicious data measured by medical sensors to find fraudulent data. As a result, cyberattacks are detected and discarded from the IoMT system before data is processed at the fog layer. Additionally, a blockchain network is used in the fog layer to ensure that the data is not altered, enhancing the integrity and privacy of the medical data. The experimental results show that the TNN and blockchain models produce the expected result. Furthermore, the accuracy of the TNN model reached 99.99% based on the F1-score accuracy metric.

【Abstract】Internet of Things (IoT) technology has uncovered a wide range of possibilities in several industrial sectors where smart devices are capable of exchanging real-time data. Machine-to-machine (M2M) data exchange provides a new method for connecting and exchanging data among machine-oriented communication entities (MOCE). Conspicuously, network services will be severely affected if the underneath IoT infrastructure is disrupted. Moreover, it is difficult for MOCEs to re-establish connectivity automatically. Conspicuously, in the current paper, an analysis is performed regarding potential technologies including unmanned aerial vehicles, blockchain, and mobile edge computing (MEC) that can enable the secure establishment of M2M communications networks that have been compromised to maintain the secure transmissible data. Furthermore, a Markov decision process-based joint optimization approach is proposed for blockchain systems that aims to elevate computational power and performance. Additionally, the dueling deep Q-network (DDQ) is incorporated to address the dynamic and complex optimization issue so that UAV selection is ensured to maximize performance. The results of experimental simulation with several statistical attributes suggest that the proposed framework can increase throughput optimally in comparison to state-of-the-art techniques. Additionally, a performance measure of reliability and stability depicts significant enhancement for the proposed framework.

【Abstract】Over the past few years, blockchain technology has acquired good faith as a modern, secure distributed network in the form of a ledger to conduct and store records of transactions. Blockchain is an evolving technological innovation that can offer solutions to real-world problems of various domains such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, supply chain, and multimedia. In multimedia, there is an increased requirement for security due to various threats, including replicating digital data without any information loss and manipulating the same without any detection. Moreover, the security of personal multimedia systems is perceived as one of the fundamental human rights concerns. Therefore, this paper proposed a blockchain-based distributed application to secure personal multimedia data such as images, text, videos, etc. The proposed work maintains personal multimedia data's security, privacy, and integrity to meet multimedia security requirements and address the above issues. The blockchain architecture is developed on Hyperledger Fabric, a permissioned blockchain structure using Hyperledger Composer, and stores multimedia data by utilizing SWARM decentralized storage system. The proposed architecture provides a cross-platform, low-cost, and energy-efficient blockchain prototype to manage and secure personal multimedia data. Many experimental tests are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed work based on various parameters such as transaction latency, asset latency, throughput, power consumption, upload, and download time for multimedia data. Finally, the proposed work's robustness, feasibility, and reliability are proved by comparing it with the existing works. Results and discussion show that the proposed scheme is more efficient than the existing schemes.

【Abstract】Blockchain has become an important processing paradigm in recent years. The blockchain supports financial transactions and validates contracts, documents and data. However, the evolution of blockchain has become viable for many applications. The servers' availability and reliability (dependence) are required in the data processing. The contract will only be signed if there are enough components to form the blockchain blocks. This paper analyses the dependency between project components that use blockchain. We present a model based on stochastic Petri net (SPN) for evaluating the dependency of the blockchain architecture. The Design of Experiments (DoE) method was used to analyse this model's factors, seeking to know which ones had the higher impact on the system. The sensitivity analysis showed that the MongoDB component has a greater impact on the system dependency and the need to upgrade such a component. Also, for reliability, making component improvements is unnecessary if the system has fewer than 36,000 h of runtime.

【Abstract】Attribute-based encryption (ABE) allows users to encrypt and decrypt data based on attributes. It realizes fine-grained access control and can effectively solve the one-to-many encryption and decryption problem in open cloud application. Linear secret sharing scheme (LSSS) is the common access structure with a matrix on the attributes in ABE schemes, which may depict AND, OR, threshold operations, etc. However, LSSS access structure does not depict the complex and dynamic access policy of attributes, such as the complicated relationship of different attributes and the generation of dynamic attributes. It severely restricts the expansion of the practical application of ABE. Besides, there exists another problem; attribute authority (AA) in traditional ABE has a concentration of power and easily suffers from single-point failure or privacy leakage for being attacked or corrupted. Blockchain is a decentralized, tamper-free, traceable, and multi-party distributed database technology. Consortium blockchain (CB) is a partially centralized blockchain, whose openness is between the public blockchain and the private blockchain. In this paper, an ABE scheme on LSSS access structure with expressive dynamic attributes (EDA) based on CB (LSSS-EDA-ABE-CB) was proposed to resolve the above issues. EDA can construct the comprehensive attribute calculation expressions by conducting various operations, such as arithmetic operations, relational operations, and string operations. In virtue of the application of EDA, the proposed scheme can reconstruct new composite attributes to realize the dynamic adjustment of attributes. A partitioning method of EDA avoids one attribute appearing in two different EDA expressions. The CB technology enhanced the authority and trustworthiness of AA by openly recording AA's attribute key distributions in CB transactions. The scheme in the paper was proven CPA-secure under the decision q-PBDHE assumption in standard model in the CB application environment. The scheme provides a more general data access policy and maintains the fine-grained character of ABE simultaneously. Finally, the security and performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme is secure and highly efficient.

【Abstract】In the developed field of information and communication systems, the utilization of the Internet of Things (IoT) devices is greatly increasing. In their applications, data gathering with limited energy consumption and good security is essentially needed nowadays. The network is energy limited as the sensor nodes are operated using battery power. The nodes in the network are vulnerable to several attacks and the proposed data transmission scheme should provide network security. Security is a main concern in data aggregation. In this work, a secured data aggregation scheme with compression technique and blockchain-based encryption added routing is presented. The data transmitted by the device are added with a hash key generated using a spider web-based dynamic key (SWDK) generation process. The SWDK-added compressed data are transferred in the process of blockchain encryption routing. Then compression-based data aggregation is utilized to reduce the data size and sequentially the transmission cost. The devices in the network transmit data to the base station/server in the network through gateways. The simulation results prove that the proposed work gives reduced transmission cost and energy consumption compared with the existing works. The network throughput increases due to the sharing of security keys, as well as network latency and packet dropping, which are reduced in the proposed work.

【Abstract】The traceability of Blockchain Technology (BT) has been implemented widely in many industries, but coupled with this fact is that more and more consumers focus on personal privacy information security. This paper mainly studies a BT-enabled operation system with customers' privacy preferences and enterprises' privacy protection. From the short-term perspective, we first investigate the impacts of different privacy attitudes from consumers on the optimal pricing and privacy protection decisions of enterprises in two scenarios with and without BT. Then, we give the conditions of enterprises adopting BT. Furthermore, from the long-term perspective, when privacy protection insurance is provided for risk-averse consumers, we also investigate the evolutionary stability strategies between enterprises and consumers using the evolutionary game theory. Finally, numerical analysis is adopted to verify the theoretical results and show that privacy protection and BT are important to the operation of enterprises and the purchasing behavior of consumers.
