【Abstract】With rapid growth in data volume generated from different industrial devices in IoT, the protection for sensitive and private data in data sharing has become crucial. At present, federated learning for data security has arisen, and it can solve the security concerns on data sharing by model sharing on Internet of mutual distrust. However, the hackers still launch attack aiming at the security vulnerabilities (e.g., model extraction attack and model reverse attack) in federated learning. In this article, to address the above problems, we first design an application model of blockchain-enabled federated learning in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and formulate our data protection aggregation scheme based on the above model. Then, we give the distributed K-means clustering based on differential privacy and homomorphic encryption, and the distributed random forest with differential privacy and the distributed AdaBoost with homomorphic encryption methods, which enable multiple data protection in data sharing and model sharing. Finally, we integrate the methods with blockchain and federated learning, and provide the complete security analysis. Extensive experimental results show that our aggregation scheme and working mechanism have the better performance in the selected indicators.

【Abstract】The increasing volume of user and household data and number of smart meters compound the challenge of ensuring efficiency and privacy protection of electricity trading in existing smart grids. Therefore, to minimize the cost and latency in electricity trading, in this article, we design a new architecture for smart meters that can support transactions (using a blockchain-based wallet) and initiate transmission switch instructions (using smart contacts). Specifically, our approach comprises a decentralized peer-to-peer electricity trading scheme to enable automated electricity transmission (using smart contract instead of some centralized entity), and our blockchain-based anonymous authentication scheme to facilitate fast and privacy-aware roaming, in order to achieve privacy protection. We demonstrate that our proposed scheme is secure under the universally composable framework.

【Abstract】Blockchain is emerging as one of the major disruptive technologies of our times. In the context of public administration, blockchain heralds major transformations of public service provision and has the potential to increase the transparency of, and citizens' trust in, public administration and its services. However, the introduction of blockchain to public administrations means potentially changing aspects of the job performed by public officials, including their day-to-day activities and responsibilities, and even their very control over administrative processes. While some public officials may view blockchain positively as a means of improving current administrative practices, others may view it more negatively and resist it. The acceptance or otherwise of blockchain is, therefore, a fundamental issue for analysis. We conduct a vignette experiment to probe public officials' opinions on the introduction of blockchain in the provision of public services in a local council. We follow an influential classification of blockchain configurations to analyze whether different configurations of blockchain affect public officials' opinions toward its implementation. Results show that a more public configuration of certain aspects of the blockchain increases the likelihood that public officials will accept blockchain, while it is also associated with an increase in trust in public administration and its services.

【Abstract】Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) is widely deemed as the future of global shipping. The cyber vulnerability has however been identified as an emerging problem and a potential barrier influencing MASS development. This paper, through the investigation of the fundamental trust problem with regards to the cyber security of MASS systems, aims to develop a blockchain-based scheme for the trust management of MASS. The innovative idea of using blockchain within the MASS context is that the mobile entities in the MASS operational environment constitute a decentralized opportunity network, which makes blockchain an appealing tool to provide a solution to evaluating and maximizing the trust over the dynamics of the entities. This paper elaborates the mechanism by which the MASS entities participate in keeping the main chain. Firstly, the paper illustrates how the Belief of Trust (BoT) among the entities is encoded and assembled into the chain, to allow MASS entities to have an initial judgement towards another entity before they get acquainted. Secondly, at the consensus layer of blockchain technique, it addresses how the witness, who has a temporary right of producing a block and append it to the chain, can be elected among the nodes and how to intent the nodes to maintain the blockchain from a proof-of-stake perspective. Finally, this paper describes how the MASS entities can use the certificate dependence information to evaluate the trust transition in the MASS operating environment. Typical scenarios are delineated to show the procedure of certificate inquiry, handover of controls between maritime supervision centers and shore-side remote control centers in case of the occurrence of unexpected events. The findings provide any entity in an MASS network with an effective solution to evaluating the degree of trust he can have for any targeted node/participant. They can therefore help choose better (more trustable) nodes to maintain the MASS network's knowledge of evidence to judge the trust on an unknown member.

【Abstract】Currently, the world is experiencing a global pandemic due to the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID19), a disease stemming from a novel coronavirus. The main measure used to contain the rapid spread and to control this virus's contamination rate is social distancing. This method has dramatically affected citizens' daily lives. To this end, replacing face-to-face meetings with virtual meetings using cloud videoconferencing application solutions has emerged. This approach has indeed solved this problem for millions of schools, companies, governments, and individuals worldwide. However, security and privacy concerns arise. The number of videoconferencing users has increased during the pandemic, yet some applications offer only unencrypted communication for unpaid users. Moreover, uninvited attendees can join virtual meetings, collect sensitive information about users and shared files, and participate in them using deepfake tools. To resolve this dilemma, we propose in this paper a lightweight, scalable blockchain-based authentication mechanism to secure cloud videoconferencing. Private blockchain, as a decentralized network, can handle user authentication and provide complete data privacy to shared information in a virtual meeting. Moreover, to reduce the latency and mining processing overhead and for scalability of the system, we use a time-based consensus algorithm. Our simulation shows very low latency results, perfect for a video system.

【Abstract】South Korea invests a budget of trillions in national R&D projects every year, and has achieved excellent performance doing so each year. However, since the projects are planned, evaluated, and managed by different departments and institutions, duplicate planning and submission leads to insufficient sharing of research results. Currently, the National Technology Information Service (NTIS) inspects project duplication based on keywords, which leads to duplicate planning among departments and closed management of research results. Since the NTIS builds in centralized systems, the inspection systems supports one-way management for duplication checking and information sharing. Therefore, we propose a new platform, called the Trusted Information Project Platform (TIP-Platform), for easily checking for project duplication, sharing research results, and updating research results. TIP-Platform adopts a new concept for user authority setting, the distributed ledger structure, transaction structure, and service. For the adaption, the TIP-Platform uses blockchain technology that performs recording and management via blocks by distributing the right to record and managing transactions. This platform makes it easy for anyone to view and use project-related information such as research results and duplication review. In this paper, we describe how the TIP-Platform can achieve excellent research results through information sharing of a project. This platform needs to be based on trust, because it shares information and continually updates information.

【Abstract】In recent years, the number of smart contracts running in the blockchain has increased rapidly, accompanied by many security problems, such as vulnerability propagation caused by code reuse or vicious transaction caused by malicious contract deployment, for example. Most smart contracts do not publish the source code, but only the bytecode. Based on the research of bytecode similarity of smart contract, smart contract upgrade, vulnerability search and malicious contract analysis can be carried out. The difficulty of bytecode similarity research is that different compilation versions and optimization options lead to the diversification of bytecode of the same source code. This paper presents a solution, including a series of methods to measure the similarity of smart contract bytecode. Starting from the opcode of smart contract, a method of pre-training the basic block sequence of smart contract is proposed, which can embed the basic block vector. Positive samples were obtained by basic block marking, and the negative sampling method is improved. After these works, we put the obtained positive samples, negative samples and basic blocks themselves into the triplet network composed of transformers. Our solution can obtain evaluation results with an accuracy of 97.8%, so that the basic block sequence of optimized and unoptimized options can be transformed into each other. At the same time, the instructions are normalized, and the order of compiled version instructions is normalized. Experiments show that our solution can effectively reduce the bytecode difference caused by optimization options and compiler version, and improve the accuracy by 1.4% compared with the existing work. We provide a data set covering 64 currently used Solidity compilers, including one million basic block pairs extracted from them.

【Abstract】Blockchain is believed to be able to build trust among multiple parties and improve the operational efficiency of economy and society, which is attributed to its decentralization property. However, the endless growth of Blockchain data keeps challenging the storage capacity of Blockchain nodes, compromising decentralization, and revealing the issue that the state-of-the-art storage systems of Blockchain are not scalable. From the perspective of improving the scalability of Blockchain storage systems, this paper introduces the logical and physical data structure used by Blockchain storage systems, surveys the current schemes of Blockchain storage systems in terms of the approaches to reducing data redundancy, the corresponding influence on its degree of decentralization and data reliability, and conducts quantitative analysis on data redundancy for schemes of Blockchain storage systems. The study finds that the key to realizing scalable Blockchain storage systems is to deal with the contradiction between data redundancy and its decentralization characteristic. Based on the findings, the node-based scalable model for Blockchain storage systems (SMBSS) is proposed, experimental analysis on the prototypes of the SMBSS is carried out to verify its validity, and future directions for scalable Blockchain storage systems are concluded.

【Abstract】In order to solve the problems of few and complex traditional cross domain authentication schemes, a double-offloading biometric authentication for cross domain scheme based on blockchain technology was proposed. Firstly, we use fuzzy extraction technology to extract the random key of biometric authentication, so the problem of the biometrics leakage caused by the permanent unavailability was solved. Secondly, we use the untamable blockchain to store biometric public information, and the threat of the fuzzy extraction technology which is vulnerable to be active attacked was solved. Finally, based on the distributed storage function and consortium blockchain architecture, we achieve the biometrics cross domain authentication of user in local and remote environment. In addition, for double-offloading, one of them is when the scheme offloads the server of the user's registered domain, which is no longer needed after helping the user register and submit information to the blockchain service node. The other offloading is the blockchain service node can be offloaded when the other domain server gets and stores the authenticated information of the client. The security and efficiency analysis show that our scheme is not only secure but also practical. Finally, we give the security proof and the efficiency analysis of our proposed scheme.

【Abstract】Nowadays, continuous monitoring of a patient's healthcare data has become a critical factor in human well-being. However, with the rapid advancement of wireless technology, doctors and healthcare professionals can monitor the patient's healthcare data in real time. But to access the confidential patient's data which is transferred through the open wireless medium, the secure transmission plays an important role. In this work, the privacy and the anonymity of the end-users (patient/doctor) are preserved using an anonymous blockchain-based authentication scheme. Moreover, in this work initially, mutual authentication is performed between the end-users, followed by encryption and decryption of confidential data. In addition, to avoid reauthentication of the patient again during the movement of a patient from one doctor to another, a transfer authentication protocol is performed between the doctors which enhances performance analysis. The security analysis section illustrates the withstanding capability of the proposed work against various vulnerable attacks. Finally, performance investigation of the proposed work reveals a reduction in computational and communication costs when compared to existing related works.

【Abstract】Because of the complexity of construction projects and the frequency of project transactions, smart project management has a huge amount of transaction and operation data. Massive transaction and operation data urgently need a safe, efficient and low-cost storage and data analysis to realize fine management of buildings, low-cost transaction and interconnection of project information. Therefore, the construction project management system based on internet of things blockchain has been gradually improved, and more and more researches have been made on it. This article proposes a parallel design scheme. Parallel algorithms disperse the repeated calculation work on each node, reduce the calculation load and calculation time of a single node, effectively improve the efficiency of the algorithm, and enable it to process large-scale data of different sizes in parallel. Improve the algorithm according to the experiment, and analyze the performance of the parallel algorithm according to the experimental results. Experiments show that Apriori algorithm and K-means algorithm based on MapReduce are more than 85 degrees optimized than traditional data mining.
